i need help figuring out what engine block i have.

i have 2 images, one is a transmission and one is a engine block. can anyone tell me more about it, like what year and if it's worth working on? i have No idea what i have.

i also have Multiple bumpers for a Nissan Datsun 240z but, i dont know anything of their value. i might have other things too, but i don't know Exactly what i'm looking for. the guy who i got this from said i could just HAVE it, and the stuff in its' shed. but theirs A lot of springs, gears.... bolts......... LOTS of alternators tons of Radiators. If i were to take the Engine block, header, header cover and the transmission what else do i need. i am just a mess. i don't Even know if its' worth fixing.
