*** I NEED HELP FAST *** Can KA S14 Head Go On S13 Block!?

i got a s13ka with some head probs... but a s14 ka spare... can s14 head go on s13 block... if so what modifications if any... EMAIL [email protected] ASAP

No, they are not interchangable.

The castings are different, so the bolt holes do not line up. The front cover is different too.

of both are DOHC's then yes, i've done it before and got the car running, you'll have to use the S14 front covers as those are not the same from the S13 head, also the back of the S13 head has the holes for the plate, but you could use 1 or 2 bolts for that on the S14 head, the valve covers are not the same so you'll have to use the S14's valve cover, also keep S13 intake/exhaust manifolds.

S14 Ka is comin out of 1995 240sx se 5 speedS13 Ka is havin some noise in head...

YES, you can use an S14 DOHC head on an S13 DOHC block...but be aware that you also need the valve cover and front upper timing cover from the S14 motor.

Although the front timing covers look identical, there is a small spot on the drivers side of the timing cover that will leak oil if you have the wrong one.

Easy stuff.

what would the horsepower gain be if it had that? also i think a crank bearing is spun... how should i go about fixin that?
