I need help! (Coolant passage hoses)

So I have a custom front facing intake manifold.



With all the good things also come a few bad things... One of those bad things is that it's a challenge to work on anything underneath that manifold.

I had my thermostat go bad on me, as well as the lower radiator hose sprout a leak.. I couldn't touch either problem without removing the manifold. Which was OK because I needed to put a proper gasket on there.

So I replaced the lower rad hose (KA one works ok but it's a pain in the butt to get on the thermostat housing neck!). I replaced the thermostat with a NISMO unit. I put everything back together..

I decided to reroute my fuel lines to go under the manifold to look nicer.. I was in the process of routing one of those lines when I notice a problem..

I managed to get a small coolant line pinched between the manifold and the thermostat housing.

It's the one right behind the water neck with the temp sensors.. just in front of the first runner..

There is a tube built into the factory runners that goes from the front of the manifold back to the rear. I believe this passage used to send coolant to the bleeder screw and then up to the throttle body and then back to the rear of the engine..

So here are my options. 1.) Leave it be! Am I going to disrupt any flow of coolant and mess anything up it I leave it pinched off and closed? Should I be worried that the extra pressure will break the thermostat neck or hurt anything else??

2.) Try to slightly loosen the front and lower bolts of the manifold and see if I can pry up the manifold just enough to pull it loose. If I do this will the gasket and rtv reseal? I put the manifold back on Saturday AM.. If you break the seal will it ever seal up tight in the future?? Or, do I have to pull the whole manifold back off..

3.) Remove manifold and put it back on again. I'll have to put in the hours to clean off all the old RTV.. I might rip the gasket? I really don't want to spend another $60 and wait a week for a new gasket..

What should I do?? What would you guys do?
