Hey, guys my names josh im new here although have been in the 240 game for the past 3 or so years! I have a 1990 ka24de mt coupe.I just recently installed the motor and when i floor it to wot it just completly s*** out.

Things i've replaced:
Fuel pump-walbro 255(new)
fuel injectors,rail, and fpr-oem(new)
fuel filter(new)
Maf (cleaned and read volts)
cts (new)
Spark plugs, wires, rotor, and cap (new)
Knock sensor(new)

Alright i think i got everything.
Anyways i recently went through and ohm'd out the tps and it shows to be within proper spec. which made me move on and not check volts. also i have check continuity between the tps, knock sensor, cts, maf and the ecu seem to all be fine. Today i just replaced the cts because the ecu was throwing code 13 and it was not within spec as far as ohms. It helped a s*** ton
although it still chokes quite abit. The ecu still shows code 13 after reseting it. SO i checked continuity again and wiggled the wires around everything shows its fine. ALL IDEAS SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED!!! thanks!! :gotme

Have you done a boost leak test? Willing to bet that's the problem.

Sounds like my car after rebuilding it. It ended up being a timing issue. I had to pull off the valve cover, upper timing chain cover, and pull off all the sprockets. My idler sprocket was off by one tooth, and caused it to bog really bad at wot.

I also wasn't able to get the timing at 25btdc too when I had that issue. The distributor had to be fully advanced or fully retarded to get it anywhere near stock timing. If you arn't having that problem, then this is most likely not the issue. Are you hearing any detonation?

Before I installed the motor I replaced all bearings, seals, timing kit, front cover and since then i have reexamined the timing several times because it wouldn't run with out being completly advanced, but now it is as close as you can possibly get it.
I do not here detonation, the only thing i just thought of, is it has about 8 month old gas in it.. (THIS JUST CROSSED MY MIND) think this could cause that many problems?
