First off, Welcome to NICO.

Secondly, seems you have a lot to learn about cars and Z cars in general so I suggest you do a lot of reading and try to absorb as much information as possible.

To go with the Twin Turbo setup you will want to swap in a full twin turbo motor and all related parts. It can be time consuming and costly. Depending on how far you want to take it, prices for parts and labor could range anywhere from probably 2800 to 6500 so start saving.

Once again, do a lot of reading and research. Prepare yourself before you jump into something you're not ready for.

Post up some pictures of your Z if you get a chance.

yea thanks for the info...ive seen your car on car domain and i really like what u did with the Z on the back lights as well as the screen and such..im having a guy custom the screen so it fits right in where the ac vents are.now do u think it would be cheaper to swap or to have the turbos put in...plus i gotta figure out what ill do with the friggen engine ill still have..ill get the pics up asap but im still having some body/interior work done...im gonna put in some subs that should look pretty sweet.i bought the service manual on disk but i dont really understand a whole lot.the guy who owned this car before me owned a datsun and then a 1989 300zx and now owns the new 350z so he took really good car of it, its just nickel and dime crap that im paying for now.let me know whats cheaper and also where you think i should get this..ebay's cheap.

Unfortunatly you wont be able to put the turbos on your motor. The compression is way to high. NSRZ32 is right on the pricing. I would say you would need at least $5000 for a alright shop to do it with all of the parts. You need to start saving. Z-1 charges over $8000 to do the conversion but they include alot of extras. A clip alone will cost you over $2800 with shipping and you still would be lacking a twin turbo fuel pump, diff, bumper, and the engine harness will have to be converted to left hand drive. Good Luck though. You might want to maybe consider selling the n/a and purchasing a tt.

you can start simple and work your way up, cone air filter, cat back exhaust, ecu chip, won't be a huge difference but noticable and withiut braking the bank, and you can carry over and intake and good exhaust over with a turbo swap at a later date when you can better afford it

Sounds (no pun intended) like you should have thought about the motor first instead of your stereo "stuff". Full VG30DETT swap is the only answer...NA with snails=no no.
