i need confirmation

to those who had the non working HUD and swapped out for an analog, i need to confirm that what i have on the pic is indeed the subharness that i would need for the analog cluster, btw the pic shows my current cluster (digital) and if i need to replace it do i just need that harness that sticks out from it? thanks guys

The sub harness that sticks out from your digital can be replaced by the harness adaptor that comes out of the analog harness, the difference is that the wires come out of the plug in your dash straight to your speedo cluster.

Just make sure the year from the cluster and the year of your car match within 89-90 and 91-93 people.

what do you mean by harness "adaptor" ? is that the sub harness for the analog one? i thought both cars (digi and analog) have the same wiring except for the "sub harness" and the clusters, thanks

well, from what i know, the piece of harness that comes out of the connector from inside the dash is different from analog to digital, you have to change them out. There is a piece of wiring that comes out for the HUD that im not familiar wiht though.

ok, ive been looking at pics of analog ones but none have harnesses, basically ive got the digital and it has 4 main connectors, 1 is for the tach, 1 is for the gauges, 1 is for the speedo, and from the speedo sensor, 1 for the HUD, now from looking at pics the analog ones have 3, mainly the tach, gauges and the speedo....basically ur saying what i need is of course the cluster (you're saying the 91-93's are interchangeable right?) and the wiring thats equivalent to the one i encircled in the pic?

Yes you have it exactly. Just make sure you have the 91-93's, otherwise the vehicle speed sensor signal will not work with it from any other year.
