Who has one?

That's a sweet service! I'll get with you about this as I like to keep those things hanging around for others sake.knightrider wrote:yea i cant fix that one short of rewelding it, but its stock so no reason to go to all the trouble, but if you need a new CAS driver in the nose of the cam, lemme know.
ill offer the service to anyone that wants to replace the CAS driver with a new one so you dont have the headache of being without a car for a small fee + Shipping. Dee if youd like i can replace all the ones in your extra cams so that when ppl need them, they know they will be getting a good one.
ill pass on this word , its probable that this is the cause, the first time was because we powder coated his timing cover and instead of sanding the powder out to fit the CAS he used a carbite deburing tool to get it off which left it just slightly out of roundsideways danny wrote:if you're breaking CAS splines very frequently, take a look at your water pump. if it's not genuine it probably fouls on the top cambelt cover, this throws the cover out of line which means the CAS isn't running true so puts sideways force on the locator. I've had this where I've had to use a course file and remove a little material from the cover then it works fine
