I need an ECU.....

Like the title says I need an ecu, a cheap one.

My original problem was that cylinder #5 was not firing. While I was testing the ignitor the car just shut off and wouldnt start. So I replaced the ignitor and now the car runs again,but cyl #5 stll is not firing. So that leads me to belive my ecu is the culprit. Yes, I did check the wires... no, they are ok.

So if anyone has an ecu laying around, hook me up.

Bad injector? Coil pack?

I swapped coil packs around and still the same cylinder missfired. I pulled out the rear coil bank and set it on the valve cover with plugs installed, Cyl #5 had no spark. even after swapping coil packs around.

I am in Lancaster PA and I have two extra ECU's RB25's. Not sure if thats what you need or not but that's what I got. If you want to try one out let me know. It's about 1 hour drive from you.

The one I have works fine and I would like $150.The other on works but the tach output from the ECU doesn't work. $75

thanks the ecu worked out perfectly....The car goes with light throttle but if i floor it ,it sputters. could be old gas or that old ecu might have fried another ignitor.

afaik the ecu should works fine....there probably something else is causing the problem......is all 6 cylinder firing? maybe try to check the diagnostic code from the ecu again to see if it 's returning any error?

im going to mess with it some more this weekend, it could possibly be a fuel problem... I only have the dump pipe installed and with moderate revs it was shooting 6 inch flames out...

this is the 4th rb20 swap i have done in the past year, no other has give me as much problems as this one.

as soon as i finish this swap im going to sell it....tired of this thing.
