Someone threw a cigarette butt out of their window on the highway, and it got sucked into my cousin's engine and ruined it. Don't ask me how, cause I don't know, but it happened! Lucky for him his car was still under warranty... ;-P

If that IS true then ANYTHING from the road would have ruined his engine eventually...(rain, rocks, debris)

if u want a part for your car usually the easiest way and the cheapest is to go to a junk yard, you'll be able to get an ashtray for like 5$
