So every morning I drive down the freeway to work. Exit, slow down to the stoplight. Turn left, and accelerate to 40-60 (flooring it) passing everyone I can, in about a 1/4 mile distance. Then I squeeze over at the last second, and stop at the next light and turn right. It is right after this turn that the cat starts stinking like egg farts. So what could be causing this problem? The 1 front bank precat that is left, is metal substrate, and won't stink. The rear cat is not metal substrate, but is a Magnaflow high flow and only 6 months old. My guess is that somehow raw fuel is getting into the exhaust, and causing the cat to stink.

Open for discussion...

Remove the Cats entirely...no more smell I guarantee it. Ig you have an inspection, get a high flow from catco and have it welded in.

Cats are for queers...if you keep it I guess we all know.

Nope. I just *seem* knowledgable. I just retain a lot of what I read, that's all.
