So every morning I drive down the freeway to work. Exit, slow down to the stoplight. Turn left, and accelerate to 40-60 (flooring it) passing everyone I can, in about a 1/4 mile distance. Then I squeeze over at the last second, and stop at the next light and turn right. It is right after this turn that the cat starts stinking like egg farts. So what could be causing this problem? The 1 front bank precat that is left, is metal substrate, and won't stink. The rear cat is not metal substrate, but is a Magnaflow high flow and only 6 months old. My guess is that somehow raw fuel is getting into the exhaust, and causing the cat to stink.
