vg33 vacuum hose diagram. anyone have it? in the manual it doesn't tell you what each hose goes too.

the main hoses that i am wanting to know about are in relation to the IACV-ACC valve and the two that are side by side by the egr valve in the rear.

i think that one of the hoses goes to the passenger side valve cover breather tube but i cant be for certain. I believe this hose may go into the pcv valve that screws into the manifold on the driver side. if anyone can help out it would be appreciated

i want to clean out the iacv valve without removing it, that hose that goes to it i am presuming that i can spray some cleaner inside there. any other way to clean it without removing it thanks. :bigthumb:

found a partial anwser. one of the hoses is the pcv hose.

what is the hose that is connected to the left of the pcv hose?

also where is the hose that feeds the IACV and where does it come out or does it simply connect back to the manifold? somebody have a underside pic of the manifold this would help greatly

How close are the 97 and 00 QX4, do you know, then I can take a pix and with your help display it.
But if your QX4 is still together, not with any tubing removed, buy some wire markers and mark all tubes on all items involved, as you go thru each item the hose numbering goes up 1 digit. Make sure the no. of the tube and its related port are numbered the same

Also make and keep notes and if you have a digital camera take pictures.

You will need at least 1-0 then when you have to do 10, 11, and 12 etc just put 2 wire markers to indicate the higher number. Keep your hands clean, dirty wire markers do not stick well with dirt.

Some vacuum comes off of a header or a larger chamber to cushion the vacuum, this is where you will make notes.

The EGR can be a bear at times, but using a weighted hammer and carefully tapping this carbon prone valve often loosens up the carbon and you may be able to blow with compressed air. The IAC valve can be checked when warm idle at 750 RPM then turn on A/C, if the valve works the idle goes up.

The PCV comes off, shake it if it rattles you should be all right, the vacuum pulls crankcase crap up to the intake.

Left of the PCV valve , do you mean attached to the left side of PCV or left of?

left side of pcv hose is what i was curious about and the IACV hose in another post.

i beleive the hose left of the pcv is a coolant hose as it has the air bleed valve directly in front of it on the top of the intake manifold.

i just want an easy way to access and clean the IACV with out removing it. where is its feed hose? i see a metal pipe sticking out connected to a rubber hose that makes a 165 degree bend back and under the manifold is that the feed or the exit? either way i want a vac diag of the iacv

i have anwsered my own question in regards to the pcv.

97-2000 qx4 same motor same vac setup etc...

----------------
* may be refrigerant inlet, aux valve like a tire valve. If so do not play with it.
**do a test on idle warm, by turning on the A/C if the IAC is good the engine will speed up, it injects more air into the engine
