Picking up a set of Q45 calipers this weekend. What all is needed to install these? I know that I will need new pads and redilled rotors (to 4x114.3 pattern). Will the caliper bolt up to the stock bracket? Will they fit under wheels with +22 offset? Can I still use my Goodridge SS lines? Thanks for the help.

Awesome. Thanks a lot. I plan on using Brembo slotted rotors, Axxis Ultimate pads and Motul DOT 5.1 fluid. I'll give a review once I have them on.

i think is because of the price and everthing, q45 is a daul sliding piston caliper with 11" rotor with a 28mm thickness... as the Z32 brake upgrade 11" rotor with either 26mm or 30mm rotor plus you dont need new lines or MC

What's on the rear of the q45? Does it have a drum style parking brake like the z?

Yes. The Q45 rears are the "drum in disk" style parking brake. Like, the 300Z, or the subaru SVX.

Not worth it in my opinion, but apparently it can be installed without the 5 lug swap, I was reading about it on FA.

Something involving a larger nut. I wasn't really paying attention.

Brake clearence is based soley on wheel and spoke design, not offset!

Thanks. I don't think it's worth it either. I'm just trying to figure out how to get a larger rear rotor without going through that garbage.

Maybe...M30? Or J30 perhaps. *thinks* As far as I know, all of the rear-drive nissans that have bigger brakes than we do use the drum-in-disc...

Maybe an S15, though?

There's a thought.

I believe JDM S14's and S15's used the exact brake setup as the z32. I know they do in the front, but I'm not 100% about the rears. It's definately something worth looking into.

Wrong, for a given wheel and spoke design, offset can be the difference in whether or not it will clear. I have 4 17x8 Konig Villains. 2 will clear my Z23 brakes, 2 will not. the 2 that fit have a 30mm offset. The ones that dont have a 40mm offset.
