I need a TCU

Well I took my car to the dealer and they said the TCU is bad, but they want an arm and a leg for the part. Does anyone have a junk '91 240, and willing to sell me this part? I would greatly appreciate it.

Turbo Controller Unit? I R confoozled.

It's by the fuses in the interior on the drivier side....it's a little white box.

so thats what that thing is !! i thought it was the chime box, doh no wonder why nothin works when i took it out and threw it across the room then beat it up with a hammer! good thing i had a few spare ones

it does control the chime with a host of other things.

you should open your tcu and find out exactly whats wrong, if it's just a burned line then solder it up.

I found a TCU at a junkyard...$30 compared to $270 new. I now have dash lights and it's great.
