Well check the venders. Greddy, enterprise, and stillen all have forced introduction kits.

The automatic has a definite torque limit to maintain reliability........anything over 333 lb/ft at flywheel [transmission shaft input] or 270 lb feet rear on a Dynojet exceeds specifications!

Anything over 5-6 psi boost will do the stock AT in...........mods to transmission can prolong the time to failure somewhat.

Very few knowledgable people will buy a used supercharged AT vehicle, because of the stress and life reduction, but there are always the less informed.

Get the procharger. They make kits specifically for the Auto G35/350Z.

Stillen makes a really nice supercharger for the G -- but it requires either a hood modification or a new hood all together.

Vortec makes an even nicer supercharger (centrifugal) for the G, and it will fit inside the engine bay to boot!

There are a variety of turbos for the G (Stillen, Turbonetics, GReddy, etc.), and there are single and dual turbo set-ups as well.

In the end, it all depends on:1. your budget2. how much power you want to put to the ground, &3. how much you want to change your engines' internals.

Best of luck in your quest.

I would go with the Stillen if the hood didn't need to be modified...As for the Vortec, you have to run oil feed/return lines to the charger; with the Procharger, you don't.

It's true that with the Vortec supercharger you do have to run oil lines and you don't with the Stillen and Procharger units, but it basically comes down to how much work you are willing to do and how much you are willing to spend on the project.

I haven't seen any data on the Procharger unit yet, but the Stillen and Vortec units produce similar amounts of power. Truthfully (if it were up to me) I'd go with the stillen unit but the size of the unit does pose a problem. The hood that Stillen offers doesn't look bad, but that bulge in the center of the hood is practically an invitation for someone to take a closer look at the car.
