I need some suggestions. (creative minds speak up)

Ok so I am having a guy I know make me a custom throttle cable cover for my Z32.

The cover will be a very glossy black and the strip will be polished stainless. The bolts that hold it to the plenum will be polished stainless.
This is a rough sketch of what I came up with so far but I can't decide on exaclty what I want the text to say I also can't decide on a font/color of the text..


I want it to say something like "Nico Club Z32 Moderator" or "Nico Club forums Z32 Moderator" ect.

So get the creative juices flowing!

Hmm I wish I knew how do draw on a computer because this will be hard to explain, Its also hard to say without seeing it in the car.

But, I am always a fan of black and stainless. I think you are right in keeping the center strip stainless. Do you want any of the original Nissan, V6 3000, Twin Cam, etc? Maybe you can paint the Moderator text and even the bolt heads the same gold as the engine bay. I think painting the entire thing gold is too much. If I were me I would make it blend or throw a touch of another color like a red or blue outline in it somewhere to make it stand out a bit. I also think the text should be simple: 'Nicoclub... 300ZXttZMAN' is all you need.

Yes very good suggestions I didn't know if that was to much or what I would like to have Twin Turbo on the cover but IDK if that would be to much text.

+1 on the black and stainless it always excites me.

The twin cam and all that will be shaved off and the Nico club decal will be in the place that its in on the picture.

Also I should have mentioned that the plenum is going to be Powder coated glossy black with gold viens. So I decided to not have any gold on the cable cover.

I am curious to see what the graphic designers are going to come up with. Maybe Chris will make me a custom decal.

Once we get some good solid ideas I will put them into paint and make them then post them on here in a poll so everyone can vote on them because I won't be able to decide... (Unless someone comes up with something that I am dead set on.)

Instead, it would say, "Nicoclub whore - Averaging 4.86 post per day since 7/19/2011."

You should just keep it simple and do this (whereas = is the nico red and blue bars.)

Hmm we will see I am going to see what it looks like when I try different fonts with the moderator ban hammer jingle if we don't like it then we can go back to the drawing board.

The problem with that suggestion is the Nico club decal is going to be in it so there is no need to have it the text "Nico club on the stainless part. So with that being said the stainless strip is wide open I can make it say what ever yall help me decide on.

Tomorrow I will try to get the different fonts posted that way we can decide on them. I am open to all suggestions as for which font to choose.

Hahah I'll have to severely limit my post count then! Or just make it like a license plate sticker, and keep covering it over the years. (i once saw a plate on a car that was registered for so long, that thing had at LEAST 50-100 different colored stickers all around the damn thing. Then another where it was a sticker pancake stack on the right corner of the license plate. Funny as hell.)

I can imagine my cover having the sticker pancake of different post counts. LOL.

As far as script, Ive always liked certain cursives or scripts but not the super elaborate non readable ones. I guess its more of a personal choice
