Hey guys,I will be running 720cc injectors on my CA(set-up below) and was wondering what kind of system I should use for it? (Dee said he could get SDS for 550cc injectors but I dont know if he can for 720s cuz I havent seen him on in a while). Anyways, what system would be best? My engine has no wiring harness or ecu, but I wanted it that way cuz I knew I wasnt gonna use it. :D My set-up-JE pistons-Shotpeened and polished rods-Cryo treated block-Balanced and knife-edged crank-Upgraded Valve Springs-Removed butterflies-Ported and polished head-Ported intake manifold-720cc injectors-Skyline 65mm throttle body-Supra IC-HKS SSQV-Apexi Filter-Walbro Fuel Pump-CA/SR Hybrid transmission-GReddy Dual Dragger-GReddy Profec-B Spec II-GReddy Turbo Timer-GReddy Boost Gauge-Custom exhaust manifold-IHI RHC6 Turbo

:D I am also in need of some cams, a head gasket and a clutch if you have any recommendations, connections, etc.

Thanks!-Ian

p.s.-yes, the engine used to be Nathan's :D

Ian, I dropped you an email and you didn't respond back. SDS can control whatever injector you need it to! I'm waiting on you bro as I have another friend that's wanting a system and I told him that two people buying is always better than one because you get a discount. I too am using 720cc injectors with my SDS so injector sizing is not an issue.

thanks for responding, dee. i got your e-mail but something got messed up and I lost it. Ok, sounds great. I'm gonna need one ASAP. I want to get the thing running before my senior year of highschool starts on August 25th :D (yes, i am a 16yr old highschool student :ylsuper ) I got a price list from Raretrick today about some Tomei parts. Do these prices look reasonable?

- 1.2 Metal Headgasket (11044R472G)-$238- Titanium valve springs ( 13203R410)-$221- Titanium retainers -- (couldn't find)- PROCAM IN,EX + Adjust pulley (153020)-$586.50- Solid Lifters (161008×16)-$272(Set of 16)- Valve Guides -- (none for CA18.)-Quickshift Kit for SR20DET -- NISMO #32839-RN540 $170

Thanks a ton!-Ian

Hey Ian,

Prices sounds straight except for the cam gears (Kinda steep). If you're going to use an SDS, you're going to need to have the hall sensor mounting bracket made. "Drumma022" has one made that put his magnets on a wheel in the front his crank pulley. The ones I did puts the magnets in the back of the pulley on the pulley itself. Everything else is nearly elementary except for programming and car/SDS harness connections to vital components such as F/P, tach, etc. Let me know........

Tec3 ownz sds.:D

So does the price though.:(

But since you're a rich kid (not a negative thing, so don't take offense) with lots of money to spend, go for the best, get the Tec3. When it's all said and done, the price will be around double to that of a SDS system, but the ignition control is 100x better. Go for it!

actually i'm not a rich kid. all my tips and tiny *** paychecks add up and i get my stuff. I got that engine all built like it is for less than what my clip from Venus was :D I'm going with SDS cuz Dee knows his $hit and my cash is WAY low. Now, whether you believe me or not, I paid for all this stuff myself. I'm not one of those kids whose mommy and daddy buy him all his stuff.

Either way, if you can cough up the extra dough, you won't regret it.

I've read many of Dee's posts on this board before and I know he's a smart guy. I also know he's an advocate for SDS systems...I am too. For the money, you can't beat them. But if you can afford more, the Tec3 is better, period. The level of ignition control is just awesome...but hey, you seem set already. Good luck, the SDS is great.:)
