I'm with ATT and ready to get a new phone...

so, what's good?

I want something durable, preferably without an exposed keypad and MP3 capable.

I'm not ruling out smartphones...but I doubt I'd make full use of one.

oh, the smaller the better, I like having pocket space.

this is the only reason someone would even consider being on AT&Tthe Apps alone are worth it.

Agreed. If I chose to switch AT&T, that would be the only reason.

Just give in to peer pressure. No reason to have a crappy phone and network.

what he meant is that if James is on AT&T(crappy network) might as well buy an iPhone.

and the Android is on Verizon BTW!

but you knew that. right?

Is that why it says Verizon on the phone? I should have known.

I was telling him he needs to change phones and providers.

going to Verizon and buying and Android would be ideal, but I don't think James is willing to switch carriers.

Just FYI, I know several people who have had problems with the iPhone dropping calls and not being able to hear people well. If you don't make a lot of actual phone calls, it probably wouldn't be a big deal. However, if you talk more than you text, it could be an issue.

I like ericsson phones... the reason: support

Everything software related is practically if not all free. Beats the crap out of Nokia and Motorola. Not to mention they are pretty stout for what they are.

And you do sooo much traveling, too. Right?

Sorry it sucks in your area. It's not the case with most everywhere else.

AT&T does suck, my parents and brother have it, problems with the bills, crappy service etc. My dad has said once the contract is up they are going to verizon. I have had verizon for 4 years and never once did I have a problem, with the service or the actual company itself.

I traveled from Jersey to Miami and had no problems ,in fact the 8 yrs I've had AT&T I never had an issue.
