Hello all. I have a '93 s13 coupe with about 185k miles on her. My wife was planning on buying a new Jetta (near years end) and giving me her '01 bug. But I just redid the interior of her bug from a 2004 bug with leatherette seats and all and now she wants to keep the bug and let me buy a newer car. Well heres my dilemma... I would really like something that I can haul crap around in... I really like the honda Element... but I'm to cheap to want to spend like $20,000 on one!! This is what Im thinking.. and you guys let me know if its a good idea..Getting my cousin(used car salesman) to find a really good condition '98 240sx SE for a reliable daily driver (maybe with some small bolt-on mods) And start on my rb25/silvia project. Since I will be buying the front end of a silvia for the RHD conversion...I would have an extra sr20 laying around...and when I finish the s13 project...I could install the sr20 into the '98 240. I would end up with two REALLY sweet rides for about the same (or maybe even less) as I would pay for the Element.Whatcha think????

Yep, that sounds good. But make sure the miles aren't racked on it and check every edge for rust. Don't let your excitement cloud your judgement
