Well as you all know, I sold my S13 the other day due to it's immense rust problems. I'll be picking another one up as soon as it comes along, but in the meantime I need something to get me to work. Help me find the right car!

Qualifications:

1. Must cost less than $1500: I'd pay more if it was a really awesome deal but I'd LIKE to spend even less if I can.

2. It's just a "get to work" "point a to point b" car. I dont really care about power and "potential" and all that junk.

3. Gas mileage matters at least somewhat. I dont really want a SUV or old junker for this reason.

4. Comfy ride. I'd like something like a Maxima or a Camry or whatever that is sedan-ey and cheap, yet still comfterable with a touch of pimp. Know what I mean?

5. FWD or AWD only... I need to get around in the snow.

Whatcha guys think?

How 'bout an old 4 cyl Camry, or 4 cyl Accord? well-built comfortable sedans, FWD, cheap to keep and good in snow. Ideal beaters. Maximas are great cars for commuting, but if money is tight, the V-6 will cost a little more to operate and repair than the 4 cyl. Sube's are also a look. I'd avoid American cars even though they'd probably be a little newer in that price range.

mmm good ideas guys, and thanks for the links rex! Ive been checking out those cars all day.... kinda mulling them over and deciding what I like. I think I need to drive a few.

HOWEVER within the past hour I have been drooling over this Audi....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6055

94 90CS Quattro AWD ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh how nice would that be. I bet it'll go over $2300 though (my very upper upper spending limit)...

G20 or SE-R (heck, any Sentra) would be great. 30+mpg and reliable, so cheap as poo. Not a whole lot that can beat that paradigm...
