I need a little pre-purchase advice!
Hey guys, Im an s13 owner, and Im about to get my second nissan! Im looking at s14's. One car in particular is a 95 SE with a s13 blacktop sr in it...Im wondering what to look for as far as the swap being clean, what kind of quesitons to ask, what to look for on the car, etc. As far the the car itself, what are common things to look for on the s14 as far as things the break, little problems/quirks? Any help that you can give me is much appreciated!

Ive seen a lot of cracked radio trim on S14's.Check under the spoiler (not as common as S13s, probably not an issue in NM)As far as the SR (I dont know much about them), look for a decent wiring job. Find out who installed it and if they did any maintenance on it before dropping it in.
Other than that, its just the basic used car buying techniques. Look for oil leaks (valve cover, under the car and ask lots of questions.

I agree my S14 had crack radio trim but don't let that be such a big deal. chances are you'll crack it yourself putting in an aftermarket deck. Check for leak like you would any other car and be sure to test drive it since it has the SR swap. Check the stereo if you get a chance cause the stock speakers suck and blow easy. thats pretty much it
