Because I am relatively new to the M45 I would like to see a list compiled of what particular modifications you are looking for.

I see a lot of questions about tuners, bolt-ons and what not. I also knw the AM is BARON for the M. I will take suggestions and see what I might be able to do.

I've had it long enough, but other than the obvious. We don't need CA kits, N02 is an easy power adder, but SIGNIFICANTLY reduces engine/transmission life. Other than remote turbo kits (which I think are a farce - too much money for 100 hp) there isn't a whole hell of a lot of room in the engine bay. I think forced induction needs to be forgotten for a while anyway.

I think the simple stuff needs to be addressed. Maybe wideband tuning, adjustable fuel pressure regulators, Different injectors (highZ - no ecm driver modifications)There are a huge variety of injectors available. Upping the primary line pressure in the transmission may help with longevity.

My opinion is to make the car bulletproof while having hp/tq as a side effect.

Hey notacarlo,Since your 03M45 is very similar to the 02+ Q45 we would certainly entertain any productive add-ons.

You certainly seem to be beyond K&N filter replacement

drop over to the Q45 forum and let them know what your thinking.

I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel. There's plug and play stuff i'm thinking about. Minimal tinkering.

One reason I mentioned the injectors was that the duty cycle on my car at WOT showed close to 90%. I wasn't anywhere near 5000 rpm, and that just raises some question in my mind. (maybe that's how they are tuned...if so, that is close to the edge) - or there's something wrong with my car

The best I can do is try things and report back to a benefit or loss over the default.

saeedakobiakov - I do not race. I work for the dealership team. I drive the race transport, crew the cars and keep them running.
