damn sup yall. i need some help. im lookin for a freakin 91 thru 95 240sx. and i cant find one. its been almost 6 months so if any of you have a 240sx for sale in the northern california region let me know. the worst thing is...ive been waiting for a 240sx for so long ive started getting interested in hondas and acuras. theyre nice cars and i like them but dont want to regret buying a front wheel drive piece of vtec crap in case i find a 240sx afterwards. u know what...i wont mind getting a 200sx se-r either. as long as it isnt red im cool with it. alrite then peace

Well, dont rule out the Hondas and Acuras. Theyre quite nice, although usually more expensive. Also dont rule out Mazda's offerings.

Yea but if your looking for a truly fun Honda youd have to get RWD. And to get a Hona RWD is to almost for sure out of your budget(S2000, NSX). Looking at a Mazda isnt a bad choice though. Gotta love the miata and rx-7 as two sporty *** fun cars. Although Miata's are a bit chicky, and rotary eats gas like theirs no tommorow.

Just wondering though, how are you searching? Autotrader? Cars.com? Classifieds? Well just as advice for your search, if NorCal is anything like SoCal in the 240 market, then just about the only way to get a reasonable priced decent condition 240 is two search just about everyday. Your gonna have to be the first to come in. I got my 240 over Winter Break, saw the listing at 2AM, couldnt sleep till the dealer opened at 10AM, dragged my bro along to make sure it was in good condition, and was outa there. After I bought it the dealer said that he had 5 other people coming in after me. So you just gotta be persistent, itll come eventually if you are.

Yeah, Autotrader always has a million 240s in Cali, you should be set.

All the same, a nice 200SX SE-R would be a good bet, but it's FWD. I must say, however, that while FWD is awful, it's not as awful as people here make it out to be. You can still have fun in an SR20DE powered FWD car, I promise.

yep im lookin for a rwd car. well cant really find 240s much cuz by the time i call theyre sold and well i have to do community service anger management and drug counseling for court plus school so i dont have much time. but umm 240s my first choice. i guess i could settle with a mx6. still lookin at civics and integras and eclipses and 200sx v6 camaros g20s altimas celicas mr2 crx etc...just incase i dont get anything. but umm well recently been lookin through mustangs again. love those cars. so i guess i have the end of april to find a 240 and if i dont then ill probably just settle for a 94 v6 mustang ive had my eye on. i would get a 5.0 but gas is a pain in the azz. and as far as rx7s go id love to have one but maintenance i dont have time for. besides my budget is around 4000$ so yea. so umm hopefully i do get a 240. if not then ill learn about turbos along the way experimenting on the mustang. and then hopefully someday ill move to canada and get a s15. but thats a longshot.

i'd say, just settle for what you find right now and dont spend that whole 4k...if you NEED a car, just get something that moves and can be re-sold easily for very little loss, if you WANT a car, settle for nthign but EXACTLY what you want

well u see i would but u see im 17 years and 2 months old now and i have to start thinking about moving out which means that if i do alrite then its going to be atleast 18 months until i get another car. and besides ive been waiting too long. havnt had a car since december which really ticks me off. patience is a scratch which gets more uncomfortable by the minute. if u dont itch it then well...i dont know. but thats not the point. ive been looking for a 240sx since i wrecked my sentra last summer and i had to settle with a crx since i needed a car and couldnt find a 240. now the time has come for me to get back on the road. well its been time since december but i waited and now its just too darn freaking long.

haha thats easier said then done...cant find a cheap 240 or any 240 period. saw a couple of s14s but theyre like 6000$. and s13s that i call for are sold before i call.
