I need a five speed

Here is my situation. I have been driving a 1997 Maxima auto which is extensively modded.

I bought it from my father in law about three years ago with 58,000 miles on it.

The list goes on..... anyway I will get to the point.

I am tired of the Maxima and I want a car which is more fun to drive, obviously a five speed but I am also a cheap bastard and do not want another car payment.

I would like to stay below $10,000.

I am also 6'7" tall so I need leg room.

I drove a 300ZX today but I did not have enough leg room. My left leg was pinched between the steering column and the door.

So, what suggestions do you have for a fun quick five speed?

I have considered staying in the family and selling stuff off of my car but uncertain.

I need a vehicle which can also be used to drive clients /employees.

I do use my car for work and we do have a second vehicle(Large SUV).

Two door would be nice but maybe not quite as practical.

No I would not mind it. I drove a 300zx over the weekend and liked it but it did not have enough leg room. My 4G Max has a lot more room.

I have so many mods for my car that if I move away from the Maxima family I can probably sell my two tone seats, body kit, fenders, NX kit etc etc and make some dough...BUT I love Nissans and and do not want to carry a care loan.

If I could find a 4G in good shape with a MT I would seriously consider it.....

A five speed with my mods would be fun:):)

Believe me a 5mt 4th gen with those mods is fun, because that's basically what I have: I/Y/E/UDP, NX, suspension.

Get a 4th gen 5spd if you are satisfied with your car minus the transmission. You will love the manny transmission.

Yeah, when I sold my auto (GLE) and bought my 5MT I30 it was like a totally different car all around. I really like the 5mt 4th gen- a great sleeper with comfort, room, and a low sticker price. Plus my mods transferred over.
