Story goes, I've sent my lights up to Brandon to be retrofitted. I mailed them out last Tuesday and they still haven't gotten there (USPS, pain in my ***). I'm suposed to leave to drive to my parent house this sunday seeing as how that is out of the question at the moment (they live almost 200 miles away) as Brandon still hasn't recieved the headlights.

I want to know if there is anyone with a spare set of coupe headlights sitting around that I could borrow for about a week so that I can just leave my headlights with Brandon longer and I can drive back to my parents house for Christmas. I'd be willing to pay for shipping both ways and throw in a little extra for your time.

This would be a HUGE favor to me and one less thing for me to worry about this week. Thank you in advance!

Travis, ... customs is known to hold packages going to Canada randomly... and the bigger the package, and less detailed we are on the customs form, the longer they usually hold the package... not sure why you expected them to get there and back so soon!

You may be better off just renting a car to drive to see the folks, and then renting another one on the way back! just a thought

You are 100% right, I tried to be detailed on the customs slip and all, I guess my sense of time is just off. First time dealing with international shipments. Now I'm just trying to deal with the issue at hand.

I was just hoping that someone had a set I could borrow, I know the chances are pretty slim but overall that would just make my life a little easier.

I could do the rental car thing, but I'd like to save that as a last resort. Not to mention I get charged really high rates since I'm not 25 yet. (Only 22).

Thanks in advance!

I say go with the rental, for this reason alone, if some one ships you the lights and you open it, and the lights are broken, cracked etc, they might see it as shipping or they will put the onus on you. They packed it well they were working before they shipped them, or they break during shipping. It could be costlier for you not to rent then to rent.

I'm not gonna need my car from the 18th to the 28th, but I think that might be out of your range for shipping from CA to Florida. Just putting it out there though

Change of mind I was able to find rides both ways so I'm just going to leave my car in Orlando while I'm gone. Save me money and time both ways.
