does anyone know where I can get a quality 240sx...(maybe not even so quality..) for mad cheap...I saw an ebay one for 800 but it's engine is...dead. I was thinking I could just buy an rb26 ....but uh....obviously those are expensive...and on my wages of 5.60 an hour I don't think it'd happen any time soon....unless anyone knows where you can get the hookup for cheap rb26's...

a 90-94 240sx by the way...

and while I'm on the subject...why do some of the american ones have the silvia backend...and some the 180sx end....is it just the non hatchbacks have the silvia end or what...but yeah...

....o0k lets clear sum stuff up. There are 2 types of 240s(S13 style)..the coupe and the fastback/hatchback. the coupe has the silvia backend and the hatchback has the early 180sx back end. Look around auto trader or ur classifieds and u should find a couple in ur area. And on the RB26 swap...unless u got 6 grand laying around it wont happen, first the engine cost around 5k and u need to mod it to a single turbo in order for it to fit.

and its awd, and u ahve rwd, why a 90-94...actually, first, i think u need to devote the rest of your night searching this site and the web for any info.

the 240 coupe in japan is a silviathe 240 hatch in japan is a 180sxso some peeps, including me have the jdm (japan domestic market) piece that says 180sx instead of 240sx, mainly because its tight to go jdm for some people.

yeah...i did look in trader and didn't see many.......I'm so tired of not having a car yet...i got my 9-0-day license this past april and never went to court for the real thing....meanwhile..my assclown friends whos parents pampered them and handed them over a car like to talk smack...they can't even drive stick...oh well...I narrowed my options to the 240 or a 92-95 civic ...now thats easy as hell to mod out...

...yeah..dudes on ebay were throwin rb26's for 7k......but a skyline transmission for 600...but anyway..

yeah..again..

I'm the new heah btw. As if you didn't know.

i payed 6900 for mine. SR20DET, FMIC, Audi TT diverter valve, custom piping, 5 speed swap (my SR20 had an auto to begin with), boost and A/f mix guages, new 2 1/2" cat back exhaust with Otto racing (yeck) muffler. car was very clean as well aside from a few blemishes
