I miss the Hottest Chick thread.

I miss when people on this site didnt act like douchebags.

I miss when Mods didnt just delete whole threads for just a few posts.

I miss when threads didnt get locked because you had something to say against the mods.

I miss when Jesda and Vikki had only a playful argument.

I miss when my 240sx didnt have a broken ball joint and could not be driven.

I miss when I could post whore in peace, without worry that I was offending some honkey hillbillie, camera-less curly, or wetbacked rafter.

I miss when every everyone loved each other.

I miss the stress free time of year that isnt the holiday season.

I miss when i didnt feel complelled to write a post like this.

and I miss, Really miss, my hottest chick thread.

/end rant. Thank you for your time.

I miss the way my transmission worked PROPERLY before I had it rebuilt. First gear shifting to second at 5000 doesn't do much for my acceleration.

I miss how silky smooth my Q was when I bought it. Damn me and my neglect. I also miss Seinfeld, Alf, and Spin City.

I miss the 80s.One day, Parkinsons will be cured, and we'll have another Back to the Future movie. ONE DAY!Yes, I'm selfishly wishing for a cure so I can be entertained.

LMFAO

I haven't deleted any threads and I've been pretty quiet through all of this but I'm gonna take this opportunity to say something and I hope everyone reads this with an open mind.

NICO is not a boy's club, it's not a place for religious gathering, it's not a place for political rhetoric, and it's certainly not a place to bash or hate on anyone in any form (except maybe Kia owners.) NICO is for Nissan and Infiniti Car Owner's to get together and bond as Nissan and Infiniti Car Owners.

The fact is, everyone did not agree with the thread. More importantly, some do not agree with the attitudes and statements made on this board regarding women and other such topics. However, the different opinions, points of view, and colorful anecdotes do add to the overall flavor of NICO and it is one of the reasons we are so much hotter than other sites. But, just like NICO, those other sites have rules of conduct. The rules are there to protect the site as well as the members and visitors. I know some people might not get this or get defensive but it's not cool to act like a putz 24/7. It's not cool to start or take part in cyberspats and it's not cool to thumb your nose at the professionalism that the mods and admins try to maintain.

This board isn't here for personal attacks and I challenge anyone right here and right now that says otherwise. If you have a problem with someone on the board...leave it off of NICO. Sometimes, I feel the need to apologize to people for what's said on here and it shouldn't be that way. I don't want anyone apologizing for me. As I right this now, I'm hoping Greg doesn't reprimand me. But I think enough is enough. When there are more posts in General chat about conduct than there's ever been since I've been on here...something is wrong. I know the battles are part of the fun. Personally, I think it feels great to prove somebody wrong, but there is a time, place, and way to do it without turning it into a personal attack.

Just think of how much fun, and the progress we could make if we weren't spending time moving and deleting posts and emailing and banning members.

Hmm nice. That's was actually pretty good. Just wondering how long it took you to get that or did it just flow out like that? I sometimes get those "deep" moments when stuff I say/write comes out sounding a little more deep than my usuall nonchalant self, but not as often as I would like . Notice all those emoticons in many of my posts. Those actually quite accurately represent the mood I'm in when I'm writing them down. But anyway...good job. I've noticed you're one of the newer members, but still a mod and I can see why. Keep up the good work guys. Yay NICO.

Praise the daddy..... I agree with what you say 100%.

I am slightly upset with the stupid threads that have passed through here during the past few weeks. People bashing, scolding, and downright insulting each other is sad. (unless its between me and 1der, or making fun of jdm still not having a camera).

I have said it in other threads.... I really think that the situation couldve been handled diifferently. Thats all.

You guys DO realize that, according to NICO rules, a banning could be in order for starting a thread about a deleted thread right? That has always been our policy. I will not do it however because I understand that you are upset at your thread being gone. I want to make 2 points:

1) Not one moderator/administrator gets paid to do this stuff. All of this is on our own time; between school, work, applying to law school, wedding planning, raising children, working on our OWN cars (yes we do have them) and ever once in a while getting a chance to relax. We dedicate a lot of time and energy to NICO, so it really upsets me personally when someone won't stop complaining because an inappropriate thread was moved, not deleted.

2) I already told you we would look into editing it and bringing it back, but apparently that's not enough for you guys. Honestly, this is getting ridiculous. It's like the kid who's parents tell him he's getting the toy he wants for Christmas, but he cries and whines because he can't play with it today. Please, please, please have patience. I have finals next week, law school applications due next month, and graduation forms due tomorrow. I'd like to think I'd be allowed to work on those first.

Nick
I dont think a threat is the right way to handle this....

And if you read my thread... You will see that I am upset about many things. Its not the thread, its the way things have been handled. Its the way people have treated each other. Its the fact that some of our members has been hurt and disrespected.

This is not to bash the mods.... I am a nico supporter. Dont take it personal. This is to all who miss things before everyone acted stupid.

I am sorry if you feel that I attacked you, or anyone else...

And, as Always, I am very greatful for everything that the mods do.. All of them. Even the areas that I never go into....

You guys put in man hours, patience, and sheer brain power into this site... and we all benefit from it. Thank you.

I mean, I know why greg is bald!! This cant be easy.

If it were up to me, that thread would never come back,

especially after repeated whiny threads that popped up after it was moved.

even after telling you guys that it was moved and is being worked on... it's not deleted.

But now I actually am voting for it not to return back here...

He's definitely right, NICO is a more sophisticated (woot, go spell check), we should be more gentlemen like then childish. NICO, the future of gentleman's clubs. errr, wait a minute... nevermind

Sorry, had a chem test, about to go to a calc test and I forgot to sleep, my thoughts are about as competent as me with a wrench. (that would make way more sense if you saw the pictures of my poor car. it was doing fine till I touched it)

I miss when the Nico members had some taste in what they posted in the hottest women thread and knew better than to post nudity or links to p0rn sites.

I miss the days when all of the 240sx posts were in the correct section, and we didn't have to spend 4-5 hours out of our work days as moderators moving things to where they belong.

I miss the old red and blue Nico forums.

I miss Nissan Infiniti Car Owners from before it became NICO Club.

And finally, I miss the days when you could call up to a shop and buy exactly what you wanted dirrectly from then and it was in stock!

And you missed the point of my thread... It was not just that thread... I also apologized.... What else could I do to appease you?.... My whining about that thread... Has ended.
