Hmm nice. That's was actually pretty good. Just wondering how long it took you to get that or did it just flow out like that? I sometimes get those "deep" moments when stuff I say/write comes out sounding a little more deep than my usuall nonchalant self, but not as often as I would like . Notice all those emoticons in many of my posts. Those actually quite accurately represent the mood I'm in when I'm writing them down. But anyway...good job. I've noticed you're one of the newer members, but still a mod and I can see why. Keep up the good work guys. Yay NICO.JaysonReliford wrote:LMFAO
I haven't deleted any threads and I've been pretty quiet through all of this but I'm gonna take this opportunity to say something and I hope everyone reads this with an open mind.
NICO is not a boy's club, it's not a place for religious gathering, it's not a place for political rhetoric, and it's certainly not a place to bash or hate on anyone in any form (except maybe Kia owners.) NICO is for Nissan and Infiniti Car Owner's to get together and bond as Nissan and Infiniti Car Owners.
The fact is, everyone did not agree with the thread. More importantly, some do not agree with the attitudes and statements made on this board regarding women and other such topics. However, the different opinions, points of view, and colorful anecdotes do add to the overall flavor of NICO and it is one of the reasons we are so much hotter than other sites. But, just like NICO, those other sites have rules of conduct. The rules are there to protect the site as well as the members and visitors. I know some people might not get this or get defensive but it's not cool to act like a putz 24/7. It's not cool to start or take part in cyberspats and it's not cool to thumb your nose at the professionalism that the mods and admins try to maintain.
This board isn't here for personal attacks and I challenge anyone right here and right now that says otherwise. If you have a problem with someone on the board...leave it off of NICO. Sometimes, I feel the need to apologize to people for what's said on here and it shouldn't be that way. I don't want anyone apologizing for me. As I right this now, I'm hoping Greg doesn't reprimand me. But I think enough is enough. When there are more posts in General chat about conduct than there's ever been since I've been on here...something is wrong. I know the battles are part of the fun. Personally, I think it feels great to prove somebody wrong, but there is a time, place, and way to do it without turning it into a personal attack.
Just think of how much fun, and the progress we could make if we weren't spending time moving and deleting posts and emailing and banning members.
NICO Commandment #1: Love thy fellow Niconaut.

I dont think a threat is the right way to handle this....90Q45blue wrote:You guys DO realize that, according to NICO rules, a banning could be in order for starting a thread about a deleted thread right? That has always been our policy. I will not do it however because I understand that you are upset at your thread being gone.

He's definitely right, NICO is a more sophisticated (woot, go spell check), we should be more gentlemen like then childish. NICO, the future of gentleman's clubs. errr, wait a minute... nevermindJaysonReliford wrote:NICO is not a boy's club
And you missed the point of my thread... It was not just that thread... I also apologized.... What else could I do to appease you?.... My whining about that thread... Has ended.Anand wrote:If it were up to me, that thread would never come back, especially after repeated whiny threads that popped up after it was moved. even after telling you guys that it was moved and is being worked on... it's not deleted. But now I actually am voting for it not to return back here...
Damn... fricken awesome post!! I feel all of that also.Aries wrote:I miss when the Nico members had some taste in what they posted in the hottest women thread and knew better than to post nudity or links to p0rn sites.I miss the days when all of the 240sx posts were in the correct section, and we didn't have to spend 4-5 hours out of our work days as moderators moving things to where they belong.
I miss the old red and blue Nico forums.
I miss Nissan Infiniti Car Owners from before it became NICO Club.
And finally, I miss the days when you could call up to a shop and buy exactly what you wanted dirrectly from then and it was in stock!
