I miss my old 720

Yep! 1981 720 King Cab 4x2 ST. Florida truck. It had the tach and the clock along with A/C. 5Speed too! My folks wouldn't let me keep it in the garage any longer so I was forced to get rid of it. 199k miles and the thing would still chirp gears. I'll get some pics up.

Thanks! I love my D21, it is a blast to drive. But since bringing ODPL to NICO I have been re-bitten by the Datsun bug big time. I have started shopping around. I'd like to get a 620 to drive a couple times a week. Perhaps if I get any kind of tax return in 2009.

I know where there's a 620 king cab converted to 4x4 sitting for sale here in Arizona. It's been sitting a few years, but it always gets my attention every time I see it. I'm assuming it has CJ5 running gear underneath.

I still keep an eye out for a replacement to my first vehicle, a 1982 720 4x4. Z22 engine, divorced transfer case, 4-speed transmission. Light blue, with a 4" dealer-installed lift.

I loved that dang truck, drove it all over the place. Blew the engine, replaced it with a Z24 out of a later-model truck, and drove that until an electrical fire burned the whole thing to the ground.

One of these days I'll get another...

I am in my early twenties, I love my 720 and hope to learn alot on it.
