Yep, you heard right...I'm trying to figure out if its worth it or not as we speak. I'm very low on money, and it'd go a long way toward alleviating some of my problems. I have a daily driver thats rather nice, and I rarely ever drive the 240...since the exhaust manifold cracked, I haven't gotten a chance to drive it in about a month. Even when it was running really well, I only drove it once a week or so, I've put about 1500 miles on it since I finished building it. I changed my major to photography, and now I ALWAYS need more camera stuff, I owe 800 bucks on my credit card, and I currently have 400 dollars thats supposed to last me the rest of the semester. I'm just not seeing how its going to work unless I get a job (which is NOT happening). I'm thinking of selling the car, sinking the money into some more photography gear, and starting to make money that way...doing weddings etc. Its kinda sad to me, but I dont think the car helping me get girls either...they look at it as a frivolous waste of money, that is ugly. I'm inclined to think they are pretty much right. For someone in my financial position, and being a student, it IS rather outrageous to own two vehicles. What do ya'll think?

I went through the same thing a few weeks ago. I owned two vehicles and am making payments on one, so it just didn't make sense to keep the 240. If you feel it's best to sell it, go for it.

I ve actually thought about selling mycar, bc of the popularity it is receiving. I dont want a car everyone else wants. But I built up my motor, and I dont want to get rid of that. So until I can figure out what car to put my motor into, im stuck like chuck.

To sell or not to sell, that is entirely up to you. I wouldnt.

The Chassis isnt really that cheap and not very easy to find down in Miami. Been looking.... Thinking something alittle newer, easy to replace, with an aftermarket.

I wish the s13 was a gay mans car. Then I would rather be called a flaming fagger than have a car that all the flaming fagger ricer bioches want....

Ya gotta go with the truck for certain tail....they love the idea of the big bed u have with u at all times. I guess the idea of getting it on back there just turns some of them on.

I will never not own a truck again. After owning this truck, I'm going to make sure one of my vehicles is a truck....they're so useful.

My daily driver is a 97' Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited...its rockin awesome It also folds flat from the back lift gate to the front seats...yes, thats where its at. I haven't decided if I'll sell the car or not yet, but I'm leaning towards it. Its not like I'll leave NICO or anything, and I might always get another 240, I'm just short on cash right now

Sell the Jeep. Probly worth more, and the rebuilt 240 should be just as (if not more) reliabale than a newer car.

Haha, I cant sell the Jeep. For one, its EXTREMELY practical for what I spend most of my time doing (Sailing yo!) and the fact that my parents paid for it is another very good reason. They bought it for me so I wouldn't drive the 240 so much, it terrifies them And hey, how could I turn down a free car? its damn nice!

Wait a minute from my experience the only time a girl doesn't like it when you waste you money is when its not on them. I had to choose between my girlfriend and my Jeep Wrangler, (the 240 is still in the building process). I choose the Jeep and don't regret it. I don't have to hear her complain all the time. Ok well maybe I kinda miss her, hmm not gettin any this weekend, hmm haven't for a while, HELP No serioulsy a trucks probably more economical.

Nathan seriously. What the (&$#$# are you thinking!?!? One bump in the road and you're ready to toss the KA-T out the window!?!? SERIOUSLY what are you SMOKING?!? Think about all the time you've poured into it, all the money, all the research, all the HEART AND SOUL that you've burned up (yet not wasted) under that hood. Nathan. I understand you're upset, but its just a manifold. Marc should be replacing that thing anyways.... Really, you're killing me here- how can you even fathom, even remotely on some far off level consider the minute chance that there could possibly ever in the history of the entire universe be a nanosecond where the neurons in your brain even subliminally consider ideas and facts that somewhat represent what could be (falsely) construed as an idea of selling that car. What the hell.

LOL...my brother owns a Jeep. I was trying to get him to get a sporty hatchback, but somehow he went for the gas guzzling self-destructing Daimler Chrysler Grand Cherokee.

Surprisingly, in the few weeks he's owned it, nothing has broken. One of my co-workers has her Jeep in the shop once every two months or so...strangely, when I asked her she said she would buy another one (hers is a 2000 MY).

Anyway, getting in to wedding photography would be cool. Quite lucrative, which I'm sure you already know. Still, it would be a shame to sell the 240SX. It's the only sporty RWD coupe you'll be able to afford for quite some time (unless you somehow manage to get out of college and not be poor...I couldn't figure out how to make that work).

Anyway, if you don't see any other options to get yourself out of debt I guess you don't have much choice. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Well, suprisingly enough the jeep has proven to be rather reliable so far...it has high mileage but the previous owners took immaculate care of it and had it in for every single regularly scheduled maintenance possible. They kept all the records, which was awesome. Also, I can fix damn near anything I think after building the 240...and I'm leaning towards an old muscle car as a next project That'll require bunches of money though to do right.

If it were me, I'd just get the part time job doing something sorta fun, and keep the car, but I'm not you, so do whatever you think you need to do.

240s aren't optimal for picking up chicks, you need an NSX or something for that.

As Captain of my college's sailing team, I have absolutely no time for a part time job, AND I have to spend money on sailing stuff. Thats a big part of the problem Also....Foster, I DO have a lot of bad memories associated with the car now, it is from the Trina times In a way I just kinda want to get everything squared away in my life. Tie up all my loose ends and move on with things.

That would be a bad *** project. It might be pretty easy to find a fairly decent rust free chassis if you live in the West or SW.

As for picking up chicks, any year Corvette will probably work. Been shopping some C4 Vette's with my dad. I must say, even the '80s cars don't look dated (at least on the outside) and there's something to be said for displacement and gobs of torque.

Even the complete hunk of **** we drove today was fun enough (although the headliner was sagging so much I could barely see the road). No ****.

'67 Camaro. Two tone Red and black paint job. I was stuck next to one such vehicle in traffic yesterday with a nice looking female driving and it was defintely a welcome sight.

My uncle has a '68 Camaro with a bored out 383. He completely restored it from the frame up. He just ordered aluminum heads to fit the cams he has for it. He let me drive it...omg....I almost lost it in my pants when I let the clutch out and gassed her.
