You're always welcome in "our" forum lol.A_C_Fanatic wrote:Even though i love my car to death and spent atleast close to 2,000$ in it, i might have to trade it in because the payments on my car are too high to for my parents to cover...so im going to talk to my dad and get the next best thing...a used G35 Coupe..to that i wont have to do anything...comes with the rims i always wanted..and the sound i always wanted..and it RWD..more parts...but imma keep it simple...just wanted to let the fam know...
I graduated with one of the hardest degrees at my university and worked 25-30 hours a week, was in a frat, AND played WoW to end game. Trust me, you should have plenty of time to scrap together a few hundred dollars a month. Not to mention it would cost you and your parents alot less money to keep the AC as stated by others.mrodrig2 wrote:While I was in school I whined a whole lot about being really busy but in all reality there was a ton of time for classes, school work, a part-time job, ****ing around and getting drunk every single day. It's good that school is your top priority, but let's be honest here... if you really wanted to keep the car you would find a job and help with the payments without hesitation.
your acomplishments and abilities to do them while maintaining a diverse schedule says NOTHING about the next man! I personally wouldn't dare think anyone on NICo could do what I do just because I did it that way... to the OP, I would say do whatever is best financially! Seeking long term financial advice means very little if someone is having difficulties making a monthly note right now!Yes, he may save more in the long run, but he needs the money NOW! Do whatever you feel is best OP!RobPaulson wrote:

Maybe have your parents seek some financial advice on the situation, any financial expert would tell you to hold onto you purchase, trading in would be like throwing 4-7 grand away in the long run.
My point was there is always a way. I used myself as an example, the kid doesnt need to join a frat and start wowing. If he really wants the car, he will pick up a job. Period. Everyone has their financial hardships, but if your having financial troubles and need cash NOW as you say, you might want to get a job NOW so you can afford what you have bitten too far into. Sorry but no sympathy, wasting 5 grand in a long run is not justified by needing money NOW.rjdmmfl1 wrote:I personally wouldn't dare think anyone on NICo could do what I do just because I did it that way...
