Hey guys,

I fell off the face fo the earth...I know. Sorry.

My "wife" did some not so wonderful things and won't be my wife much longer. Anyways, one of my main motivations in buying the Legacy was for the sake of family. Well my son can sit forward facing now. And there is no wife. So I miss the G and all of the women who flocked to it.

If not a G, then an Evo to piss off the ex (she has an 04 SSL in Wicked White).

WOW! Very sorry to hear! :frown:
Was thinking of giving you a shout very recently...daughter is/was thinking of switching from graphic design degree to art.
WOW! Sorry, just a shocker.

Hey Rich,

You know what? Bad stuff happens to good guys. I'll just have to be a little more guarded next time and make the woman prove herself to me, not the other way around.

Why would she switch? I mean, the two are closely related, but GD seems like a much better career choice than Art alone. Maybe she can minor in art? I just completed a cert program for Digital Art and Design. It wasn't much, but it's the first step in a new life for me. BS in Math is next.

Her true passion is art, but she does like design too. She will be taking her second class in photography this fall and she really likes that too. She seems to excel at what ever she puts her mind to. She really enjoys working with people and she is afraid that once she gets into a design job she will only be told what to do. Rachel isn't your normal, average girl. When she was 15 and working at the music store people just assumed she was 18. Not so much on her looks, but because of the way she carried herself. She still works with her art teacher's class in HS on occasion. When in HS she worked with flute students at her middle school. She wants to work directly with the customer. I just don't think it will take long for her to achieve this. She had lunch with her HS art teacher (she was the art director) and her teacher told her to basically continue with design and work in some more art classes.
Sorry, should have sent a pm. she has a new website, will have to find it.

When do I ever care about a threadjack? lmao.

She is SUPER talented. I wish I had that amount of creativity. I constantly find my left and right brains fighting for dominance and usually the left side wins.

On a side note, your daughter is super pretty. But I'll leave it at that so as not to sound like the little leg humpers who tried to get you divulge her contact info hahaha. The precocious nature just makes her that much more attractive... I remember being a little adult from a very early age. It work great until you get to my age and people think you're 10+ years older than you are...

It's a tough call. Art is obviously her passion. She can design as a freelancer or open her own studio. Art direction... I mean, there are a lot of areas that she can work in which allow her to take some control, but in advertising, there will ALWAYS be external control. There are only a select few customers who will hand over the reigns to you and let you do whatever you think is best.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have been there and done that and its not fun. My nephew majored in graphic design and is in business with his whole family participating. He specializes in race car graphics and does nearly 100 cars a season in the Midwest racing circuits(primarily modifieds and midgets and outlaws).
They also do semis and trailers and other commercial vehicles. His passion was always graphic design and he got started by designing graphics on RC car bodies and selling them on Ebay.
I just traded my G for a FX35 last friday. Before I had some economic good fortune I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a Legacy 3.6R Limited, Nice car. Good Luck!

I'm on the fence still. I can buy a G and drop girls panties (I had two teen girls try to jump in my car last year. My wife was driving her car in front of mine. No jailbait, but damn!). Or I can get an evo and piss the f*** out of her as I sit on EvoM and Socal EVO and tell all of the guys what a whore she is and how she's using them for parts. :D

Buy what makes you happy. Revenge is not going to make you happy.

One time I was stopped at a light and I was driving my hubbie's Vette and he was behind me in his truck. A guy pulled up next to me and said "hey baby...can I ride in your Vette with you?". I said, "ask my husband, he is in the truck behind me." :chuckle: That shut him up.

I vote another G!! It's best to let that S*** go quickly and get it behind you.
As a matter of fact, have you driven a FURD lately???
The 426HP 5.0 has got me back to the Furd dealership recently..... :yesnod

Rich, don't make me come over there...I'll annoy you until you willingly give me your daughter's contact info. Then I'll spend countless hours conversing about art and design and also work on convincing her to HATE FURDS!!! lmao j/k.

As for the Revenge. I dont' know that revenge is the right word. It would be more like a public service to the leg humper community :D

Unlike you, I was quite happy to have the teen attention, if for nothing else than to stroke my ego (or my G's).

Sorry to hear that Nate....hopefully you will be back in a G...but if not I am sure you will still hang out hear from time to time.

Maybe I am too ugly to be getting hit on by chicks while driving my G....or I am not paying attention. I spend most of my time looking out for cops...no more speeding tickets for me.

Oh s*** ...I have been married too long.

Hang in there dude!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Nate...that's never a good thing for anyone to go through...

I say go G - I'm not an EVO fan myslef (something about dropping a performance car in the shell of a crappy DD doesn't do it for me...) - the G exudes class and elegance and is much nicer in the long run.

Get another G. as far as the wife situation... best thing you can do is move on in your new G. I love getting hit on in my G. quickest way to get over a girl is a new girl in the G. lol im just trying to mimic the new toyota commercials where they say "safe" or "saftey" in every sentance. oh yeah get another G.

alright stay G man.
