I messed things up big time.

Ok so I thought I got a great deal on white face gauge faces on ebay... But it did not come with instructions. So I take out my cluster and take off my needles, get everything to light up blah blah... I go for a drive and the needles do not move. So I do a search and I come across a post that says to go to this website http://www.240sxfan.nismo.org/photo6.html . His instructions do not seem right, are they? Do I really need a new cluster?

If I need a new cluster what would be the best way to install the white face gauges?

usually your never supposed to touch or take off the needles, you can just slip them over. ive installed white face gauges on hondas this way, but never on a nissan. sounds like you probably broke the cluster and you will need to get a new one.
