Most definitely! Do it.scotty-2-forty wrote:A "couple hundred" ... as in 2?! Shoot, you could get 10x the amount just parting the thing out ... grab it!
lol i agree, but what caught my eye was my dad calling me up and telling me theres a 240sx in my neighborhood and he only wants a couple hundred bucks for it lol. other than the roof , and the fact that i still dont know if it runs or not, i think its well worth it. its been sitting there for at least a year, so i dont think he likes it to much lol. there werent any other nissans or "related cars" in his garage/driveway so im thinking he just lets it sit there.pauldthen wrote:Yeah. I think that it's a keeper. For me, if a car catches your eyes and you actually think about purchasing it. It's the one for you. Personally, I like to resurrect my cars and bring them back to life. It gives me a sense of accomplishments and bragging rights. Besides, no car deserves to be mistreated. They should be cared for just like a living creature.
you must have bought your car a while ago because there are coupes in worse condition (believe it or not) around here for more than 600. Stupid drift tax. I say go for it.Cody240 wrote:I say if you get it just because it is a stupid 240 and you want one real bad you will regret it if its the first one you have looked at cause trust me there are way better ones out there for "a couple hundred bucks" (i got mine for 600 and it doesnt have but a few door ding on the body) but if you have searched and maybe just want to buy it strip it of whats good and sell the rest go ahead sounds like a good idea that way when you find one that is a little nicer you got the parts or you can sell the parts and make a little money and buy an even nicer 240. what ever the case that is my two cents gl.
