Can it be done (assuming I do all of the other tune ups described in previous posts)? Any suggestions as far as where to buy the kit, etc? Thanks

yes it can be done. any car can be turboed. but turbo kits cost and 2000+. I think you should consider getting a vg30dett clip or motorset. from what i've heard they cost around 1500. I think that would be your best route.

just take the price of a perfectly good z32tt and double it. that is approx the total cost of a custom tt conversion. just an approximation.

Thanks a lot. . Sorry for the re-post, I found some info on it aftr posting.. So in terms of pricing my guess is about $2000 for the vg30dett (including shipping) and an additional, I dunno, $500 or so for the swap/install (plus or minus) and I should be set right? I see a couple on Ebay even come with turbos. . 60 day unlimited miles warranty isn't bad either.. What do you think is it worth it? Could this swap affect reliability in the future or if it's done correctly it should be okay? I want my Z to last forever hehe..

oops I was wrong about the $2000 .. I'll need the NISSAN VG30DETT 90-99, JDM FRONT CLIP/AUTO TRANS and not just the engine right? So it looks about $2500.. Wow.. almost more than I paid for the whole car lol.. Not cheap.. But a worthy upgrade I think..

no he means find a running tt, then double the cost of that. Say, 15k to do it correctly.
