Any suggestions to help me get more head room in my s14? I know that I'm too big for it but I just couldn't help but make myself fit when I was done with the test drive. I heard that usually aftermarket seats reduce head room so anyways just wondering if y'all know something.

Oh, and to let y'all know... 6'7'' 230lbs I'm a big man (but its worth squeezing for the car)

Get custom brackets to put under the seats. You might have to go get 'em made for ya and drop those things all the way to the floor, but other than cutting the top off, i see no way to do this gracefully.

I'm sorry. But you need to post a pic of you cramed into the car. THAT would be great. :cwm27

Not sure how to remedy your sitch-ey-ation but S13's have more headroom. :) Good luck.

According to your sig your S14 has every option. Just open the sunroof :icesangel

I'm 6'3" (only 165lbs tho', no bodyfat:)), so I feel some of your pain.

I fit in my S13 without a sunroof(requirement when I bought my car, paid a bit more for no sunroof) fine with the stock seats, but no way I'm getting a helmet on for driving schools. So I was planning on getting a fixed back seat with side mount brackets and dropping it to the floor. It should still slide back, but give me an extra inch of headroom or more depending on the seat cushion.

That probably won't help you if you are using the S14 as your daily driver, but maybe you can find some Skyline seats or something like that. Heard they give you a hair more headroom and better lateral grip.

My buddy is 6'8" and anytime he sits in my S14 he just has the seat leaned way back.

I'm 6'4" 175lb. I made sure I did not get a sunroof option when I bought my s14 a year ago. It is a PITA when it comes to AutoX's because I have to slouch when I have a helmet on. I hope you can get some new seat brackets or something to help you out. If you blow out your knee, you will never be able to get in and out. I guess just keep folding up like a cheap lawn chair in the mean time.

Here is me piveting my helmet on the ceiling while slouching.

I actually picked up my buddy from an accident and had four people in my car and literally had the top of my head through the sunroof. That was a trip. I just kept praying I didn't get a cramp!
