what do u think about this engine???

Nissan 240SX. It is the 2.4 single overhead cam model. The bore is .020 oversize. Pistons are Wiseco teflon coated forged aluminum. Compression is 9:5:1 Rod and main bearings are TOGA HP bearings. Original crank and rods in motor. Original cam. Head has been ported/flow checked and has oversized valves installed. Everything has been completely gone through. 0 miles on the motor. does not come with any pumps or accessories. It is stripped down.

first off, dont buy it unless your prepared to take it apart and blueprint. dont trust anyone and dont assume anything.

second, when i had my L-body we had to pay big money to find and fit a maserati 16v head on the 8v engine. you can get a 16v engine for the same or cheaper, i threw mine away, you can find on cheap.

third. whats with that compression. if you go through all that trouble to put forged slugs you can at least drop the compression to run more pump gas boost and thus more power.

its a SOHC for 600?

You can get a decent DOHC KA motorset for 600.

Threw expirance, ill tell you this, do your homework, and look around more to see what avaliable, if you wanna stick to KA, go for a dohc, and go from there.
