Hey guys. I have had my 06 g35 coupe for about a year and a half. I just realized this site because of my brother. So i'm the new kid and I hardly know anything about cars a things. All i've done to my car so far is tint the windows, clear corners, and auto start. I'm looking to do something performance-wise. Any suggestions??? thanks, chris

Experience has shown that each additional HP will cost $100-$150.It takes $1000 to be noticeable as a 0.1 second improvement in quarter mile.Too many chose bigger heavier tires and wheels and create a deficit, that then cost additional to make up. Spend $3,000 on wheels then spend another $3,000 on mods to get back to stock times.

It's not all about quickest times...a lot of mods for the G improve the sound of the car. The PopCharger with a Z-tube and an MREV2 at 6k rpms sounds like mechanical heaven.

And to throw your figures off a little (100-150 per additional HP)...Forced Induction will be about $50 per HP. ($6k for a vortech which will give you about +120HP at the crank)

Welcome to NICO

If its performance you want, pick a good mutual fund and max out your contributions to your 401k plan or IRA

Just some free advice from an old farht.Don't piss money away on depreciating metal as great as the G35 is!
