I've heard about the "450sx's" and was wondering if there was any builds documented on this. I've searched the web and have only found 300zx's with the sway. But I've found many videos on youtube.

Thanks guys

thank you. Sorry I don't know much about the vq45, that must be the car and vh45 is the motor then? Sorry about that misunderstanding.

What the hell is a vq45? Do you mean the VH45 from the v8 Inifinti Q45?http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/....html

The only VQ motors that I know of are the VQ30DE, VQ30DET, VQ35DE, VQ35HR, & VQ40DE. And whatever the new 370Z runs...

ok since I'm still learning about the vh45, what years are the best and easiest to swap in. I've read someone mention something about the VVT engine. Sounds like extra swapping problems?

The motor with the variable valve timing is the later q45 motor, VK45. General consensus says the eariler VH45 is just as powerful as the later and more complicated VK45. You should use a pre-'95 motor to avoid OBDII woes.

Or you could look into a vh41 swap. Its obd2 from a 97-01 q45.

If i crash my Q, my s13 is getting a motor swap and a brake upgrade
