I've got a 2008 Altima coupe with stock HID's. Yes, I know. This is like hearing you have terminal cancer for those of us who want projector halo style lights. :wtf2:

Anyway, I'm getting some conflicting information. I was browsing through the forums and I found a list of the lamps for our cars. The HID low beam was D2R, and the high beam was H11. But when I went to Sylvania, they say the high beam is H9. Most of the kits I see online are H7 for the low beam and H1 for the high beam.

So I guess the big question is... which is correct? H11 or H9 for the high beams. And have any kits come out that don't require retrofitting or rebasing? Well that's two questions I suppose...

Any insight is greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to pay a lot of of money (over 1000) for a kit if I don't have to.

Owner's manual page 8-27 says H9 for the high beams.

i think you could try pulling the bulb out and look at the little imprint it has on it.

that should tell you which letter code it is.

I believe they are H9's for high beam. H11 is for the OEM fogs.
