I've tried here, craigslist, and ebay, but have yet to find a 240/60/80z that needs some love.

Can anyone halp me out with some other places to look for one?? I'm DYING to get my hands on one.

Also, I know the bumpers differ on the 280ZX over the 240Z, but could both cars technically be made to look identical? I've seen a far better share of 240's I like, than 280s. Maybe it's customizing that gets them there?

I like a snub nose front end, almost flat. That 280ZX bumper makes the front WAY too pointy IMHO.

the 280ZX (1979-1983) is a different animal alltogether, the 280Z (1975-1778) however yes you can swap the skinny 240Z bumpers on, the driving lights grill and valance are different as well but the bumpers are the most noticiable parts

I saw one...I believe it was a 240z. It's burgundy. It's missing the right front panel and hood...from what I saw. I haven't seen it up close...as I always drive past it. On Monday if I pass by it i'll give you some details.

I'm assuming it needs quite some TLC.
