Me too!! I was debating on whether I should wait for the 08 accord coupe to come out but I am soooooooooo glad I bought my altima. I am so happy now that I didn't wait!!!

Actually, for an Accord, the coupe doesn't look that bad from the front and the side. The rear view is not so good. These shots look better than the white coupe spy shots that were around. The Altima coupe still is easily the better looking coupe.

I like both honestly. If the accord coupe came out same time as the altima, I might have gone with the accord.... but only because Honda's have better V4 engines and I also know someone at a Honda dealership who would be able to hook me up.

Otherwise, I'm loving every second of driving my alti.

i think the new accord is hideous. looks like a hyundai. much MUCh happier with my altima!

^^ agreed, but Honda's lack touque..especially in the lower 4 banger models. I love my 2.5s Altima Coupe...It is truly a blend of a 350z and G35 mixed together...everybody looks at my car...

Just a thought (discuss among yourselves):If Nissan jacked up the horsepower to 200 ponies on the 2.5 engine in the new Sentra SE-R, why would they not do the same with the new coupe?Why leave it at 170 horses?Don't get me wrong, I like the new coupe, and I think it will be a runaway success, but an extra few horses would have been the smart thing to do.By the way, has anyone heard whether they are going to go ahead with the convertible coupe? That would be icing on the cake.

I don't think there's a market for that.

Nissan launched the coupe so early to fight the sales of the Accord Coupe, good move. Since the Accord has an established reputation for being in the market for quite a while.

Actually, when I bought my coupe the salesman and couple other guys at the dealership said they will come out with a convertible coupe. But, I think its not gonna be for at least for a couple years. I will keep my coupe till they come out with a hardtop convertible!

Yeah I remember reading that both a convertible and SE-R versions of the coupe are in the works. I wouldn't wait up for them though, doubt it'll be anytime soon.

What I have heard is that the EPA closely monitors all aspects of the engine. The average HP of a company’s entire line must be around a certain number or they would be required to pay more fees/taxes. So, adding HP to a lower class car would raise their average more than it would be worth.

Which BMW series are you talking about? I think the Accord coupe looks really nice...the back looks like a Bently GT..and the front is really agressive!! But i have had honda's in the past...just tired of them....plus every teenager will be getting one...i don't care how fast the Civic SI' or Type R's get...i will never drive one because it's too common...

Why didn't they just lengthen the Accord headlights just a little and run them right around the sides of the doors wrapping them into the tail lights?

The Altima Coupe is definitely exquisite and uncommon. The Accord coupe looks too much like the new Lancer.
