Thats kind of what I was thinking....... but damn Ricky that sucks you have already been though so much already with this car.. I hope its an easy fixViper5000 wrote:What if the guy didn't do anything and its just the shotty SFR job gone wrong.........????? jk
The job SFR did on the car is just perfect. Well worth the wait trust me. There would be no reason for this to happen to the shifter. i've abused the SIHT out of the car and NOT ONE THING has gone wrong or has happend to the car. This was def cause by the idiot valet driver not knowing how to put the car in reverse properly and slamming it into reverse instead of lifting the ring under the knob.DReed86 wrote:Thats kind of what I was thinking....... but damn Ricky that sucks you have already been though so much already with this car.. This is grown folks business, you need not reiterate your request.Mr.Coupe wrote:Called the corporate office today and spoke to the lady in charge. I told her the whole story and what not. She said she was going to report it to their insurance company and I would receive a phone call from the insurance company in a couple of days. I'll give it 2 days and if I don't get a call I will call her back to sound SERIOUS and let her know I want my car fixed or I will get my lawyers involved.![]()

Didn't that other dude get his car swapped by a lesser known company in a tenth of the time?Ranga14 wrote:omg, that's hard to hear although like some have said, I don't think I would let anyone touch my car, especially after all that work that was done. And btw, SFR did a good job for a company that had their first foray into converting our cvt coupe to mt. If anyone does extensive research then you'll fully understand that it is NO WALK IN THE PARK. Anyway, let us know how it turns out.

If you are not contacted by weeks end, have a lawyer fedex some letterhead to their corp office and tell me to buy the domain XYZVALETSUCKS.com that applies to their name.
No, not exactly. A lot less work was done to that car (aside from the swap) and it was done by a Nissan dealer and it still took a long period of time considering he went from some joe bob shop to the dealer. You have to understand that the majority of the process spent was on securing parts FOR the swap. Not the swap itself.dldjros69 wrote:Didn't that other dude get his car swapped by a lesser known company in a tenth of the time?Ranga14 wrote:omg, that's hard to hear although like some have said, I don't think I would let anyone touch my car, especially after all that work that was done.
