turns out my car is going to be a write off cuz its an 89 ... the damage to it is just the front bumper assembly and passenger fender. Anyone know what the deal is if i still wanna keep the car? I'm being told I won't be able to put it back on the road.

they will give you estimate for the car becuase they dont understand supply and demand.

And then you can buy it back for what they would get from a junkyard. so its like $175 i think for my 1991.

Then u get a salvaged title and make the car road worthy again, take it to a place to verify this. and you get a rebuilt title.

I know this b/c a insurance company only offered me $1500 for my car to be totaled out and I sued them and got $2500 and a clean title.

i just went to get an estimate at nissan for the damage which is $3000 ... the guy also told me that it was 97% of the total loss value which would make the car worth about $3200 (canadian). I hope that means the insurance should give me about the same.

Does anyone know if the silvia front end is street legal in canada ... if i get the cash i'm gonna do the swap.
