I haven't been able to drive my alti in a whole week!!! I fell last week at the damn club and tore the ligaments in my right knee . I am now on crutches and a knee immobilizer. I wish it was on my left leg cause then i could still take my car for a cruise in this bad a$$ weather we are having today . Maybe I'll just go sit in my car for a bit lol! Guess i'm just a little bummed out!

lol i knew this was coming!!! well after 2 full bottles of wine at the house before going then sitting and drinking another about 8 (lost count after that) small (one serving) bottles at the club...then around 12 hubby and i got up to go to the other room to dance....well needless to say i don't remember that. but while in there dancing i guess i was droppin it and my knee gave out and i fell. i dont remember so my hubby was the one to have to clue in the e.r. the next day of what happened. lol!!! i know it's such a great story to go with the injury. but yeah now i have to wait til monday afternoon to get another mri done on my knee. here goes another weekend to ****!

That sux, I sprained my MCL in a car accident at the end of Feb., kept me from driving for 2 weeks. but after that I drove with a knee brace, thanks to all the leg room we have

i used to use premium til the gas prices got so outta control!!! once they hit about 3.30 for premium i cut back! but not only do i have my alti i also have a chevy equinox that eats gas like hell! i guess its cause the army constantly has my husband driving all over the place!

I had a stroke (also known as left cerebellar infarction) on 03/09 and haven't driven my Baby-G since the DMV automatically suspends your license after a brain injury or seizure episode. Plus, my left side coordination isn't 100% yet. Thank god I have the CVT and not the 6MT which will make it easier when I do drive again. I still need to see if I need to retake the driving test. Did I mention I'm only 26? Fun!!! Never take your good health for granted, cuz it can change in a minute. Literally.

not self centered! I was actually referring to where Rolling Estonian was talking about the torn MCL. I was letting him know it was my ACL. I meant to quote but forgot due to vicodin and ran it altogether. EXCUSE me! But yeah i was actully talking about Leif's strokes at 26. And how i couldnt believe that that could happen at such a young age. I do really hope he gets better. I could not imagine going through something like that. ANd yeah i should be blessed that it is only my knee and not something worse. Sorry if i seemed like i was stuck on myself.....but being stuck on the couch (since i cant climb the stairs)all week has kinda made in only think about two things.....1) my knee and 2) how i wanna drive so bad and can't. oh wait and 3) how i can't make it to the gym!!!

Ok that just sucks, sorry man! Good luck with the recovery, I have a friend who was in a bike accident @25 and had clots on the brain and seizures(1 or 2 a year) and lost his licence too Best wishes!

wow i really didn't know that you lose your license for that kinda stuff! I guess i've just never known anyone that that happened to. and as or the premium gas now its 3.90 here. the 3.30 was when i stopped paying for premium and that was like a month and a half ago. but yeah that why we don't live in cali even though thats where my husband is from. He's from southern cali though. not that that really makes a difference with gas prices over there.

yup droppin it or so i was told! i don't remember any of it!!!!! gosh i think i still have 3/4 of a tank or maybe its full....but at least when i can drive i wont be filling up for a while....as i lay here on the couch, leg proped up with ice on it, i'm wishing i could be in my car, radio bumpin, windows and sunroof open, just letting the wind blow through my hair. but then i think about how much i am saving on gas!!!!!! lol!!!!! 70 dollars for a tank of gas now....that is rediculous.! my husband and i are planning on going to pa for memorial day to go camping and im not looking forward to paying for gas at all. cause if its that high now i know its gonna be even higher then! well there goes the tax stimulus check we just got!

Really??? I thought it would be well over $4 for premium there by now. In Camarillo (just north of Malibu) any reputable gas station is charging 4.10+ for Premium Took me $72 bucks to fill up on Thursday. Absolutely incredible.

i'm not one of those people that will give up the looks of a car for a car that gets 15000 miles to the gallon...lol! i luv my coupe too much to trade down for something like that. i think my car gets great gas milage but these gas prices are cutting into my travelling/ shopping!!!! now to go to texas will cost me out the a$$ this summer!!!
