That is a good idea. Test it on the flip side of a visor. (I guess they are the same fabric)bschurr wrote:
Whatever you use, just test it in an inconspicous place (like under a piece of trim) before you go all out.Good luck
I would use demineralize water using a soft rag and then let it disappear on its own.08.black.G37 wrote:

The reason I mentioned demin water is that it adds nothing but removes something. I have used it on many other things with good results, the only issue is that it is the perfect solvent.oldandslow wrote:Liquid dishwashing liquid, like Dawn.Cuts grease, but is easy on fabric.Mix up a little in warm water till foamy.
Speaking of De-mineralized water, I keep a spray bottle of distilled water in the trunk, for quick spot free cleanups, like bird droppings.pfarmer wrote:

Before I retired I worked at a power plant. The storage tanks hold several hundred thousand gallons of demin water. In the early days more than a few cars got washed this way and the effect is really amazing. Dirt and soap just flows right off and water spots just don't really exist.oldandslow wrote:
