And this is why:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

It's quite clear the claims of 100HP are rubbish... but that's really strange is the feedback. Almost all positive? are there really that many stupid people? or is there something to this?

I know it's just a chip that tricks the ECU with false MAF readings but how is it that so many people are positive about it?

Well, it is 100% guaranteed. Buy one Kenrik, and tell us what it does for you. If it's crap, get all your $$$ back.

As far as all positive, probably had his friends buy a bunch of stuff, and paid them back in person...

A couple of years ago I saw the exact same thing on ebay. There was less fluff and no pictures though. We were bored, and the price was $2, so I ordered. About 2 weeks later I recieved a resistor crudely taped to the inside of an envelope that was worth less than the postage required to mail it.

But then again, 30 day garentee... could be interesting.

Hey, if someone has access to a Dyno, go for it. It'd be worth it just too see what, if any, the results are.

Did a little google search on the company. They've been running this scam for a very long time. Not one happy customer out there. It turns out that it IS in fact simply a resitor that tricks the air temp sensor into thinking that the air coming in is cold, thus increasing fuel, and causing many problems down the line. The honda boys have been falling for this for almost a decade now. AND, it turns out that this is the SAME company that sent us the resistor taped to the envelope years ago. Good times...

Jeezis man, we get the point on the 401k. Some of us are not impending death/old age/retirement and want to mod our cars... Some of us will be partially retired in 3 years too. Part time work, time to spend with the wife. Might not be travelling the world at 70, but will see a lot of the US by 40.

LOL

Beaner

But you've got it backwards. See the world first prior to 70 and then see the USA. Those 14 - 16 hour flights are easier when you are younger.See what I mean about being older and wiser

My retirement is mostly funded by itself. I don't think there is any employee contribution.

I do have the option of using one of those IRS "loophole" retirement plans, but I think I'll keep my money where it's useful...in the bank.

Some of us will retire in different ways that don't include poor American bastards paying interest to us indirectly.

Some of us may become terminally ill prior to retirement age.

As such, I'll make my own grounding kit (then sell it), I'll make my own Carbon Fiber parts (then sell them), I'll mod my car out for speed and fuel economy (because it makes me happy).

The only thing perplexing to me is how anyone could find believable the claim made that, and I quote;

"Proven test results have indicated that by adding more gas to the engine's fuel/oxygen mixture, an increase of up to +100 HP can result without giving up MPG's."

Hmmm... no dead giveaways of a scam there, huh?

There's just some residual hurt-butts here because of previous inane ramblings from the 240 crowd... and sexy?? Maybe, if you consider your 65 year old aunt with the hairy lip and blue hair sexy!!

I've got pounds of Resistors, project boxes, and assorted color/gauge wiring...

Looks like I'm going to start selling Performance chips for Hondas
