Yup, just like it says, I've got it in. I've still got some things to do, but I'm pretty much there. I drove it home tonight. I tried to do it in a weekend, but it didn't work out. It ended up taking me 4 days straight. But after the drive home, it was more than worth it. I ran out of shrink tubing, so I couldn't get the ignitor wires extended, I'm waiting on the correct thermostat elbow cuz I screwed mine up and the one for the USDM CA points the wrong way. I have some questions for everyone though...

- I'm assuming the extra plug (won't plug into anything) by the relay box by the battery is for the detination sensor. (I'm getting a code 34 and it's the only plug I wasn't sure about. How did you guys wire it up? Just splice it into the harnes somewhere? Thats what I was going to do, but I thought I'd see if anyone had a bright idea.

- Is the bolt pattern for the SR MAFS the same as the CA MAFS? I have no air filter right now, but I don't know if an SR MAFS adapter will bolt up. I tried to use my stock airbox, but the bolt pattern is different.

- I've got NISMO 550cc injectors, but the ECU can't drive them. Any easy fix to get them to work so I can turn up the boost after I get the new turbo in?

- To those with SPEC clutches. What did you think of the pedal feel? I think it's too light. I'm still breaking it in, so I haven't gotten on it yet, but it doesn't seem to slip, it just seems to easy to push.

- Anyone have a pressure regulator control Solenoid? I can get one new from Nissan for like $75, but I hate to pay that much. Maybe someone has a better hookup with Nissan than I do. If so the part # is 14956-27M00

- How did you secure your battery with a FMIC. I got a Slim battery, but I can't think of how to secure it. I may use the stock securing bracket and drill holes to make it work or something.

It's not 100%, but I think I have a VERY simple way to get the A/C belt to work. If you look closely, the pulleys are the only difference. I bolted mine up and it fit fine. My friend has a tool to take the clutch off of the A/C. If I can get the clutch off, I should be able to switch pulleys witht he CA pump and everything should line up, no problem. But I'll let everyone know if it does work. Anyway, I'm excited and I've written a novel. Thanks for everyones help and I'll keep you all updated. Thanks!

First off, congrats on getting CA powered!! Even if you did choose a weaker engine to go with. =)~ j/k

With regards to the clutch, I have an RPS clutch and not a SPEC. Though, the clutch effort was a lot less than I expected. My only experience with upgraded clutches before the 240SX, was in Datsun 510's. In those cars, you knew you had an upgraded clutch because the peddle effort was a lot greater.

The 240SX has a HYDRAULIC clutch. Therefore, you're not going to notice much, if any, difference when it comes to peddle effort.

:thumbup! AWESOME RYAN!!!:D Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I've not been home in afew days:( been super busy with school... I sent out your stuff today (finally ... SORRY!) but I sent you 2 for the price of 1;)

Get some pics up man!:) And you need something like an SAFC or an ecu reprogram to run the 550's...

Zip tie that battery down... hell paul uses them to hold his bumper on:pface

I bet a pulsar maf is the same so get a maf adapter for a pulsar off ebay (like $10 max.)

pressure regulator control Solenoid? What is that? I'm sure I either have an extra one, or I can get a new one from Nissan for ya'!

Give me a ring if you need anything, because more than likely I won't be online much for another few days! (Stupid tests and crap!) 407-252-4712

I did a whole write up with pictures on how to wire up the Knock Sensor, just do a search for Code 34 fix or search by all post's made by me. Pretty easy stuff.

My KA adaptor worked for me. Try that out or just get a sheet of Aluminum from Home Depot, cut a square out, drill the holes for the MAF, and weld a 3 inch piece of exhaust tubing to the other end... viola! instant MAF Adaptor.

S-AFC or have the ECU retuned, no other options really.

What Stage? I don't have mine installed yet. Stock clutch is holding up OK for me for now.

That little doohickey under the ignitor that goes into the intake pipe? That is for hotstarts, I don't even have mine wired up..... just ditch it, don't need it. No adverse affects here.

Secure the battery???? hahahah that sounds like doing something the "right way". I have an Interstate Batteries Lawn and Tractor Battery for my FMIC, the length of it is the exact same size as the width of the stock battery, so it is wedged in place in the tray pretty good.... so its not going anywhere.

Don't know..... ditched my A/C. Talk to Mikey, Alfred's buddy. He kept his A/C.

Congrats on CA power!

Phax-Thanks for the reassureance. I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong

Sean-Thanks for the hookup! The pressure control solenoid is the little thing below the ignitor. I'll take yours if you don't want it. Otherwise I gave the part # in my first post. I got the # written down, so I'll give ya a yell.

Dee-I love the bad joke, it was great! hehehe. But seriously breaking the clutch in is killing me. I just wanna stomp it and run her up to redline soooo bad. Patience grasshopper....

USDM_OneVia-Dude, I've searched for the thread and I can't find it. If you can, please hit me in the head with a 2x4 cuz I'm an idiot. I'll prob just make an adapter Home Depot style. I'd hate to buy one and have it not fit. It looks like the concensus is that I'll have to retune/piggyback, so I'll just have to wait on the injectors till I get my Power FC.I know that I probabally don't need the solenoid, but I'm anal. Nuff said. :DI have to have the battery secured for SCCA, but I've got an idea to make it work, so I'm not worried about it now.

Trigger-I hear ya on the exaust. I won't have anything but the downpipe till Saturday. I'm just having a shop make me one. I bought a nice SS muffler from PDM-Racing with silencer. All in all I will be paying less than $200 for the whole exhaust. It's only 2.5", but it's better than nothing and it's cheap.

Just redrill the holes, if they are going to let unfiltered air in just JB weld them.

I went Sean's route and found one on Ebay for a pulsar. It should bolt up. We'll see next week when I get it in.

*Smacks self in head with 2x4* Somehow I knew you'd find it. But it's not cuz I'm an idiot. I was looking for Code 34 ect. I didn't search for DET sensor or anything of the like. As for the adapter, it's the adaptor and the filter so I'm not complaining. And right now I need something ASAP.
