crossdrilled rotors + calipers brake upgrade (what brand?) - get the 300zx upgrade its more than enough for what ur doing

kouki tail lights good

s15 front end conversion (what are my options for fenders, i want the do-luck widebody fenders with the side vent, give me some input if i can do that or not?) i dont like this on hatches since the body lines dont match

Apex N1 exhaust or Apex GT Spec-ok

Either Bride or Sparco Racing seats-bride

short shifter (was thinking B&M) b&m is a lil more $ but well worth it

Act Clutch & an Unorthodox Flywheel ok- or a jun flywheel or fidanza

KYB gas shocks + eibach springs-i have this and its great for the money, but i only paid $65!

Dragon intake-get knn, gives a carbo $, prolly wont help in canada though :) but the knn flow good air.5 spoke white rims (brand? hopefully not to expensive)- yea, this is where the ricing begins, white rims were cool on civics for about a week, dont get white rims

side Mirrors NOT APC! get the jdm folding mirrors if any

links are everywhere, find em, http://www.srwap.com i like a lot.the order is up to you. it depends on if u want go fast speed first of handling/drifting abilities. welcome

start with boltons that can transfer to the new motor/trans. (i.e. the b&m and the catback) then go for full suspension, then do your motor swap with the apprpriate accessories (bov, boost controller, turbo timer, etc...), then do the interior of the car.

then you can sell it for not even half of what you have into it and start all over.

i would take a good look at your bank account also, unless you are a trust fund baby you will be saving to do each step for a while.

take a look at the thread below this one called "call for suggestions" and that should give you a good idea of stepping a build.

so far i have only spent 1700 bucks and i am definately happy with the results, but i won't be street racing on saturday nights either.

If nebody has tips on where i can maybe find some parts for a better value that would be awesome too. I just ordered a C type short shifter instead of the B&M, cause i heard of the rattling problem.. thx for inputs though..by the way how is that HKS dragger exhaust? If nebody here is from Vancouver, BC give me a shout!

If you are in BC, you should talk to Colin, Jon, and Don at http://www.pdm-racing.com. I got some killer whiteline adjustable swaybars from them a month ago. Great guys.

welcome to NICO i hope u find everyone here very helpful and informative, and i know it may seem as if we dont have much patience, but u must understand, we get a new 24o guy in here everyday that asks the same questions, so bear with us. I made a huge list for you, however i hit 'back' instead of submit post, so its all gone :(, and i really dont have time to type it all, so right to the important stuff:

SR2odet: http://www.heavythrottle.com or http://www.afterdarktuning.com

i would wait on all hte aesthetics/ conversions for last, as they will cost a pretty penny and a lot of time

the Rims: all a matter of opinion : http://www.wheelmax.com

and as far as almost everything else you said, shocks, struts, shifter etc: http://www.ebay.com , you will find almost everything you need there for much cheaper, especially stuff like CAI's, Catbacks', and your $5oo sparco seats, also, u didnt mention a FMIC, get one of these ASAP as well, thats another 8oo or so

just out of curiosity, is the HKS a real blowoff, or is a recirculating bypass valve? if it's a vent valve, scrap it. bypass valves are better since it keeps the air in the system. That BOV will vent to the atmosphere, where the intake will suck it in, forcing the computer to register it again even though it has already allocated gas for the previous reading. Find a good mitsubishi 1G DSM and hook it up. you'll like the results better.

i also hear that using a 1st DSM BOV and 'crushing' it will give amazing results, its very popular among the DSM guys, not to mention they're dirt cheap

what up man, sorry to get back to you so late. I would assume your talking about my hks dragger exhaust? The story goes....I had the dual hks hyper exhaust and it came in (literally) the day before i totalled my 300zx. Anyways, i ended up selling it to a friend and it sounded awseome. Because he had it however, i wanted to switch it up and get something different by hks. inititally i liked my dragger exhaust, but i dont know if it's my engine,car,,etc.. but the exhaust just isn't loud enough. I hear my intake way louder than my exhaust. Not only that, but im really not digging the whole huge muffler thing anymore. If i could do it over again i would just get the hyper again. Plus, its cheaper :thinker

Get a short throw shifter if you don't like the current shifter. B&M makes a nice product.

The stock knob is typically half an inch taller than the aftermarket ball type shift knobs.

I actually changed the knob and got the B&M shifter. It's a bit noisy but it has a perfect shift pattern. Hardly any sideplay.

Man this board really fuqin bugs me with the punks who I swear wait and watch for a new person to post, only to say SEARCH SEARCH!!!

For fawk sakes, give someone the benefit of the doubt sometimes. Searching doesn't always yield the results you're looking for, and sometimes opinions change on certain things that have long been archived.

Its not like he came on here asking who manufactures the 240sx or if its rwd or fwd.

sorry for the rant, welcome to the board! :D

oh...and if I were you I'd forget about the front end conversiona dn put that money elsewhere...namely in performance mods :)
