I like turtles. Do you like turtles?
Nah, I'm not about fads or crazes. I actually don't like cars that are considered cute, they have to be sexy. If I'm not instantly attracted, would make sweet sweet love to a car (if it where possible) by look, and how it feels when being driven, I will not like it. Like Sunfires, Grand Ams, Aleros, all notorious, cute, chick cars, which is just not my style and I won't even get started on the Prius. I like cars that are rare, and am generally not a fan of American cars, although I will say the Challenger is one of the only cars that has come out of the US lately that I actually like because they did a good job of capturing the old body style but modernizing it in a way that is pretty solid without it being too plastic and cheap looking/feeling, in my opinion.Dattebayo wrote:I like corn.MellowS13 wrote:I like turtles. Also, what made you want a 240? The latest drift craze or do you just think their cute cars? I remember when a chick called my first 240 cute.
The brakes are a pain in the a**. I absolutely hate working on my brakes, the pad holders teeth thingies are a joke, and spinning the ebrake thing back is frustrating as hell.Dattebayo wrote:Well it's not generally an easy motor to work on, but the brakes are a piece of cake. It's a predictable car to drive, but I hate driving them in winter. They handle snow so badly that I used to just take the bus when we get a storm.
They do last forever if you don't wreck them first. Just saying my piece.

So why were you initially interested in the 240?Dattebayo wrote:

Yeah, so much for me being able to work from home when the weather is bad. Stupid Bronco...E Dogg wrote:
Her and i work in the same place and we will just carpool in the bronco when the snow is bad.

Well, our winter really destroys cars. If you want to have a nice(r) car that is mostly hobby, you generally store it during the winter, but even still, cars rust out a lot quicker here than anywhere else. I will say though that one of my favorite times of year is when it starts warming up and people start getting out their stored cars and motorcycles.240sxcl50 wrote:Yeah finding cars in your area is a pain i thought there were more around my area till i started lookin. it took me a few months to find my s14.
Agreed. That's what I've grown to like about 240s is that they have so many options. I'm sure a lot of us would love to design a car that's put into major production, but since most of us don't get that opportunity, it's nice to have a car that is so flexible with how it can be modified and molded. I really can't wait until I find one and bring her hometm1218 wrote:the main reason I like 240s is not because they are cheap and easy to make fast/perform well. I like them due to the fact of aftermarket support, Visual and performance wise. Even though people follow fads, it is possible to make your 240 completely different from any other 240 out there. Billions of different types of aero. Billions of conversions. Billions of possible power plants. The list goes on. Not to mention I like the way they look, and I like lightweight FR cars from the 90s. 90s Japanese FR cars FTW.
