Hey guys, I think I've posted here about once. I have been reading through this forum for the past couple weeks, and I finally picked up my rb20 clip today.

Bought from Tino with custom imports. I saw some of the sickest cars ever today, including a real s15, old saab 4 door running like 31 psi? 2 rb26 s14's, and of course an r32 GTS-T cut in half, oh wait thats mine =P

Came with a Blitz super sound BOV, and some GAB coilovers...usless?? I dont know! hood/fenders/skyline mats/some tyte JDM accesories including a JDM self serve gas card?

Just introducing myself I guess, as I will be coming back here quite often seeking wisdom for my swap. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to get the damn thing out of the trailer right now, then I'll get some pics for yah...

Welcome aboard. Race bread is always cooking in the oven over here. We will all try our best to guide you along with any help you may need. Trust me the sound of that straight 6 alone is worth it all.

Downpipe, 3" exhaust w/ no cat makes my car sound like a Supra with a nasty Single turbo. Welcome aboard! I am really surprised he isn't one of those guys that bought Modified and asked how to put a Rb26DETT into a S14 LoL.-Alex

Haha, I'm not THAT new! Dont worry, I'll be doing a lot of searching. I'm trying to get my damn camera to work so I can post a pic of my first dilema...yeah its still in the trailer.

If you don't mind dragging it around, you could always get a Come-a-long and pull it off the trailer that way. Just be careful because the front end of the trailer will likely pop up when all the weight is on the back.

Otherwise I would suggest an engine lift, but I don't think it will have the reach of lift height to bring it out.

sit in it, make engine noises, and it will drive right off that thing.

No way dude its obviously rear wheel drive!

Well I got a friend on his way with the cherry picker...I'm hoping it will be tall enough. If not I'm hoping i could somehow get just the motor out with it, then just lift out the shell. If that fails I'm screwed out of another $40 for the trailer again

Would anyone be interested if I were to make a post with my progress, and update it with pics/info every time i get something done? I am a newb so I could point out the newb things about swapping an rb20.

Sure, why not. I always felt that the more info out there the better. Besides, if you start to take a turn in the wrong direction, maybe some of the other people who have completed the swap can stop you from making a big mistake.
