Haha, no I drove from the front. The Focus did have one of the best of size interior in its class in 03 hence the reason I got it. I needed head room! Plenty of it in the Altima.

I wish I could get some diff. headlights but after going thru about 3 diff. sets on the Focus and a set of HIDs, I think that I'll stick with the stockers for a while. But we'll see, my feelings might change later. Thanks though!

I went ahead and traded it in (actually I'll deliver my car to the dealership on Mon.) and I purchased a brand new 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE 6spd with Sport Package. I'll have pics up soon as it's a little late to be taking pics, but I'll give ya'll a quick rundown of today's occurances...

Around 1200, the wife and I were finished with my eye exam and went next door to Gwinnett Place Nissan in GA to look at some 05-06 Altima's. I previously tried to buy a Carmax 06 Altima 3.5 but it drove like absolute ****e, and seemed to have an abused history. So we just went to browse at the Nissan dealership, and found some used Altima's but no 5spd versions. Well the lady salesperson comes up and asks me if I wanted to take a look at the brand new layover 08 Altima's (09's are already on the lot) and see what kind of deal I could make.

Low and behold they have one White Frost (color I was looking for) 08 Altima 3.5SE on the lot. She let me test drive it, car is freakin' awesome!!! Keyless Push start ignition, Sport Package (rear spoiler, fogs, sunroof, some other extra's), power everything, tinted windows etc. Too much too list. I take the car for a spin wife loves it, I love it, we go inside to talk. I know that I cannot afford this car, asking price is $28K. But she says that she can go down significantly on this car since it's been sitting on the lot.

I say that I need some time to talk about it, and go home. Well after about an hour of talking it over with my wife and mom, we decide to go back down and see if we can make a deal. To make a long story short, basically it's like this. I can't really afford this car right now because I'm shipping to Army training for 6 months straight on Sept. 15. I guess they like Army guys because this is the deal that I got...

The car's price was reduced from $28K to $21KThey are giving me $4K on top of that for my FocusDid I mention that it is a blind trade??!?! They haven't seen my car yet!!So from $21K it drops to $17KNow here's the kicker, I do not have to pay a single payment til May of 2009!!

They took into account that I'll be at training for a while (get out Feb.) and then I'm enrolling in the police academy in March and finishing in May.

But with all the bonus and salary money from the Army, I'll be coming back with, when May comes around I'm going to refinance the car while I drop an extra $6-7K as sort of a late deposit.

So when May comes around and after refinancing for another 60-72 months, I'll only have to make payments on $10-11K that the car is worth, with reaches my goals of having an under $200-250 a month car payment!!!!

Are my family and me expert negotiators or what??!!

But anyway the car itself is brand spanking new has all the features and more that I could possibly ask for.

So pretty much, I got $4k for my Focus in a blind trade. The day I took the pics of the Focus and Altima was the day I delivered off my Focus to the Nissan dealer. I took the rims and C/F hood off though, the rest of the parts were left on.

I just wanna keep it simple, either 18''x 7.5'' wheels or 19'' Nismo Maxima wheels (damn 19'' tires are so expensive!!), custom exhaust, intake, Stillen Front Lip, Stillen Side skirts, Nismo rear bumper thing a majig, Stillen or C/F roof spoiler, Eibach Pro Kit. That's about it. I'll try and make some eyelids like I did for the Focus.
